The article presents a number of insights and practical considerations when planning your DAM initiative, including understanding the nature of your requirements before despatching RFPs (request for proposal), careful planning of what metadata fields will be required, getting abreast of rights, permission and usage mechanisms, being clear about who will be taking ownership of the DAM, and considering which integrations and third-party tools your organisation might need in order to construct the most valuable, streamlined and effective digital asset ecosystem.
