Featured Job – Senior Taxonomist, Envato – 15th September 2023

This week’s highlighted position is for a Senior Taxonomist with global online creative assets, code and tools marketplace Envato.  In order to fulfil the role of taxonomy and metadata ambassador and identify new opportunities (especially related to generative AI), successful candidates are expected to have at least 5 years’ experience working in a similar environment.  Key responsibilities will include the scoping, creation and maintenance of taxonomies, metadata schemas and ontologies across the organisation, leading taxonomy projects from conception to implementation, improving existing metadata and taxonomies via feedback and analysis, and working with multiple teams and stakeholders to drive improvement, ensure best practice, and meet business goals.  Although this is primarily a remote position, applicants are required to live to in either the pacific or mountain timezones.
