This week’s featured opportunity is for a Metadata Manager with renowned publishing house Bloomsbury Publishing. Working out of London within the metadata team, the successful candidate will be championing metadata across numerous departments, including marketing, editorial, operations and production. Applicants are expected to have experience with managing metadata in the book industry. Key responsibilities will include planning, implementing and maintaining a metadata strategy, ensuring best practice, analysis and reporting, cleaning up out-of-date copy, overseeing the use of external taxonomies, marketer training and onboarding, and developing improvements to overall metadata quality and standards.
