Featured Job – Head of Enterprise Information Architecture, AstraZeneca – 25th June 2021

This week’s highlighted job opening is for a Head of Enterprise Information Architecture with British-Swedish multinational biotech and pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca.  The successful candidate’s broad and varied role will cover Master Data Management (MDM), data analysis, governance of information models, metadata, and a host of other data-centric duties and disciplines.  Other responsibilities will include leading business case development, managing data analysis activities and partner closely with other teams to improve and maintain data standards, ontologies, taxonomy and model designs.

“The Head of Enterprise Information Architecture, MDM and Data Analysis will lead the design and governance of information models, master data, transformation rules, metadata and data lineage across IT.  You will need to establish and set information architecture practices wrt artefacts, processes and designs to ensure FAIR data across AZ as well as to ensure data is organized and structured so it is fit for purpose.  This includes information architecture of both operational/transactional and analytical systems, minimizing the number of transformations across the estate.  The team will work closely with Enterprise and Solution architects ensuring Information Architecture artefacts are incorporated into all architecture designs.”  [Read More]
