This week’s highlighted position is Digital Asset Specialist with American photographic, print and art product retailer Shutterfly. Operating out of Minnesota, applicants are expected to have experience of library systems or CMS, and a working knowledge of managing digital assets. Duties include the daily management and ongoing support of the company’s DAM system, including tasks such as upload, ingestion, cataloguing, tagging, taxonomy and metadata management, and archiving. Additional responsibilities will include ensuring quality control and brand standards, user training and onboarding, permissions and rights management, search and retrieval optimisation, performing system audits, analysis and report, and keeping abreast of emerging DAM technologies, trends and best practice.
