This week’s featured opportunity is for a Digital Asset Manager with the Royal Collection Trust. Operating out of St. James’s Palace, London, candidates are expected to have experience in DAM system management or digital library management with a strong working knowledge of metadata and cataloguing tools and processes. Responsibilities include oversight of the transition of the trust’s digital files to a cloud-based platform, developing and implementing a metadata schema and tagging thesaurus, configuration of the new platform, auditing digital assets with a view to consolidating them to a single repository, and providing user onboarding and training.
