Featured Job – Associate Digital Asset Manager, Paramount – 17th May 2024
This week’s featured opening is for an Associate Digital Asset Manager with American subscription TV and on-demand video streaming service Paramount. Operating out of either New York or Burbont, California, the successful candidate is expected to have at least four years’ experience working in DAM, archiving or library science with a strong working knowledge of digital files, specs, formats and photography workflows. Key duties will include maintaining the network’s internal DAM database and archiving system, adhering to upload, cataloguing, file and naming conventions, managing metadata, taxonomy and quality standards, maintaining the photography budgets, and acting as a go-between for receiving photographs from agencies, internal teams and the archives. Retouching and colour correction may also be required.
“Reporting to the VP of Photography, this role will support the Paramount Streaming Photo team across a wide range of responsibilities. This role will work closely with the Photo Leads to manage the photography being produced by the team. You’ll run our workflow liaising with photographers, receiving their images, quality control, and keeping the team informed. This is a vital position at the heart of the team.
