Featured Job – Picture Editor, Channel 4 – 21st April 2023

This week’s highlighted position is for a Picture Editor with British state-owned television broadcaster Channel 4.  Operating out of Leeds, and working as part of the marketing department, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the organisation’s brand, series, episodic and vector logo assets are present, along with creating imagery using existing assets for all Channel 4 content.  The individual will also act as a DAM guardian for the picture editing team, with duties covering captioning, tagging, and storage, taking ownership of brand guidelines and templates, tracking and reporting potential issues to colleagues, and managing requests for in-house design projects such as posters, invites and press packs.  Applicants are expected to be fluent in the use of Adobe’s CC suite and other workflow software such as Word, Excel, Outlook and Monday.  A basic understanding of copyright law is also preferable.
