Featured Job – Taxonomist – Interests & Communities, Meta (Facebook) – 22nd April 2022

This week’s featured opportunity is for a Taxonomist for the Interest & Communities team with Meta, the multinational social media and technology company formerly known as Facebook.  Working out of the USA, the successful applicant will be an accomplished taxonomist with at least 5 years of experience developing, implementing, and managing complex taxonomies, ontologies and thesauri.  Responsibilities will include categorizing, labelling, machine learning classification, and supporting various systems such as content management, digital asset management, and product classification.  Other duties will involve liaising with other partners, and presenting standards and best practice principles.
