The role:

The Sr. Coordinator, Metadata will focus on maintaining and governing metadata standards in the company digital asset management (DAM) platform through developing and executing training materials, conducting regular audits, and supporting metadata optimization initiatives analytics, automation processes and overall workflow processes. The Sr. Coordinator will complete metadata worksheets for all corporate driven marketing projects while reviewing metadata for the regions and countries.

The Sr. Coordinator will update all documentation and training materials ensuring that metadata standards are understandable for all DAM partners while helping to make company assets more accessible from both an internal and distributor perspective.

How you would contribute:

  • Support the adoption of the DAM metadata policy and standards for all final and approved company assets with training and documentation
  • Provide support for digital asset workflows, tagging and organizing of digital assets in the DAM
  • Review DAM analytics and provide metadata findings and optimization recommendations to partners
  • Work with corporate partners to complete metadata worksheets for final assets prior to DAM ingestion
  • Review and share feedback with regions/markets on their asset metadata
  • Audit and resolve problematic metadata entries on our employee and distributor asset share platform
  • Maintain metadata worksheet and glossary
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Skills and background required to be successful:

Skills

  • 4 years’ work experience working with metadata and DAM systems
  • Proven success working with DAM solutions in a marketing organizations or lifestyle company
  • Knowledge of Adobe AEM Assets or similar DAM platform
  • Ability to resolve problems and meet deadlines with minimal direction
  • Ability to lead multiple projects and work in cross-functional team environment
  • Experience with database and analytics tools
  • Flexibility to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Experience developing, implementing, and/or maintaining controlled taxonomies in a business environment
Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, or related field of study
