Job Description
Position Summary
The Product Owner Creative Tech, DAM is a thought leader responsible for the full lifecycle management of ELC’s creative asset management platform on a global scale. They will run and maintain the selected system from strategic planning to tactical delivery. This includes but is not limited to leading ideation and requirements gathering, overseeing technical development and the launch of new features, enhancements, integrations, and analytic capabilities.
They are the DAM subject matter expert that partners with the Directors of Global Creative Tech in IT and the Creative Operations Center of Excellence by building consensus on priorities and execution that will drive adoption of our chosen technologies.
This is a cross-functional position that will involve engaging and collaborating with various internal and external partners to ensure excellence in the production and management of creative visual assets for all brands, regions, and functions.

Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Connect solutions across multiple systems and teams in relation to the DAM
- Business acumen within creative operations and production, as well as marketing technologies
- Vision to develop and implement an agile technology strategy for the creative digital asset lifecycle within ELC
- Partner with the Creative Center of Excellence to:
- Manage relationships & expectations across brands, regions, and functions for the technology
- Refine functionality of the platform in-order to create operational efficiencies
- Ensure consistent ways of working on a global scale
- Drive adoption and ongoing training of the DAM system to facilitate proper use and be seen as the DAM Subject Matter Expert
- Decisive decision making and clear communication for all things DAM
- Financial management and oversight of vendor deliverables and working relationships
- Monitoring and evaluating product progress at each stage of the process through standard program/project management to stay in scope and on time
- Oversee all stages of product creation including design (user stories / mockups as needed), development, and release/deployment
- Accountable for running and maintaining the technical health of the system via a mixed on/off shore support and maintenance team
- Ability to drive Agile SDLC Methodologies with a user centric approach
- Strategic Sourcing & Vendor Management
- Conducts competitive analysis by looking at industry trends, customer needs, gaps in existing platform etc.
- Collaborates across different Business Units and stakeholders globally in ascertaining requirements and use cases for new product features
- Drives operational excellence and data insights for chosen technology Manages the development process and milestones for the release and support of new features
- Drives acceptance testing for release of new features to ensure alignment and adoption with users
- Attends technology and business meetings, provides status and assumes ownership for the delivery of the technical components of the platform
