About the Role

Looking to combine technical expertise, project management and creative problem solving? Become the Digital Asset Manager responsible for the day-to-day management, oversight and maintenance of our Marketing Digital Asset Management (DAM) system! With a passion for learning and helping workmates, this role will help in the evolution of digital asset management capabilities, standardizing processes to streamline operations, increase adoption and establish governance. Metadata standards, taxonomy and best practices are also core to this role as the Asset Librarian.

Critical to success is the ability to take ownership in understanding and managing the full lifecycle of all digital assets, interpret business needs into technical capabilities and processes within existing tools and workflows in a complex environment. The role requires an acute attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and must work effectively with global business partners for worldwide support.

Responsibilities:

  • Asset Management and Governance: Establish guidelines and ensure assets adhere to taxonomy guidelines, file naming conventions and metadata schema. Tag and upload assets as needed.
  • User Management, Advocacy and Awareness: Provide recurring training and onboarding new users as well as handling user permissions and access. Promote adoption, usage, and standard methodologies to further ongoing success of the DAM, through communication and documentation.
  • Reporting: Improve operational metrics to lead change by data collection and analysis
  • Process Optimization: Constantly identify ways to simplify, eliminate or automate inefficient aspects of the current workflow and ensure efficient distribution of assets to a diverse set of workmates
  • Technical Specialist: Responsible for daily maintenance and DAM usability. Assist in crafting overall strategic direction and roadmap for continuous improvements, perform routine maintenance, performance analysis, auditing and archiving.
  • DAM Ambassador and Project Manager: Main point of contact to all stakeholders when it comes to any integrations, new features, new use cases and ability to lead ownership of these projects.
About You

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of asset management experience and 3+ years Project or Program Management in major organization(s)
  • Experience in program or project management, leading and delivering cross functional projects working closely with tech and non-tech teams
  • Fluent with different asset types and experience identifying and implementing digital asset management efficiencies within business units.
  • Experience with taxonomy, establishing digital asset cataloging and metadata standards strategy
  • Proven knowledge of media Digital Rights Management (DRM)
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Manager / Adobe Assets
Other Qualifications

  • Knowledge of B2B marketing processes and principles is helpful.
  • Meticulous and fanatical about creating order from disorder; understand the “correct” level of process to apply to different projects, and demonstrate commitment going above and beyond to help users.
  • Excellent oral and written communicator who has effective relationship-building skills, ability to nurture strong partnerships across teams; a phenomenal workmate who leaves ego at the door.
  • Flexible and positive with change, having a can-do attitude and roll-up-your-sleeves approach to anything that comes your way.
  • Enthusiastic, resourceful, able to quickly grasp new concepts and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong ability to analyze issues, tackle problems, and improve processes.
  • Familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS)
  • Experience with Workfront and other Adobe products a plus
  • Desirable: Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) degree
