Job Summary:

Toyota Canada Inc. has an exciting opportunity within our Marketing department. This is a contract role that will report to the Manager, AEM Implementation. The focus of this position is to support the AEM Implementation Manager in building out our capabilities with new Content Management System (CMS) & Digital Asset Management (DAM) tools. The primary purpose of the role is to migrate content from our legacy website platforms to the new AEM platform, in coordination with the Systems Integrator over a 12-month assignment term.

What’s the Scope?

  • Project Manage the migration from existing platforms to Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
  • Build strong and trusting relationships with internal stakeholders and vendor partners to ensure smooth migration of content to DAM and CMS
  • Work as an integrated team to stand up Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) for TCI in the planned time
  • Attend and contribute to daily scrums
  • Manage external Systems Integrator (SI) in their work to build out this infrastructure

What You’ll Be Doing:

Vendor Management:

  • Working closely with System Integrator to continually deliver excellent work throughout the project development methodologies.
Internal Resource Coordination:

  • Coordinate with internal IS resources to ensure tasks are complete each day before the daily scrum meeting
Timeline & Budget Control:

  • Manage the work back schedule on their assigned sub-projects and ensure all parties are staying on track and on budget
Reduction/Elimination of Waste:

  • Proactively monitor for inefficiency and waste and look to eliminate in order to drive efficiency and effectiveness of the internal and external team
Work Efficiency:

  • Initiate and implements appropriate 'kaizen' (continuous improvement) efforts which result in work efficiencies relating to cost reduction or avoidance, improved time and process efficiencies
  • Lock in and measures incremental success through the creation and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Standardize and shares successes across the team or organization through 'yokoten' (shares best practices); continues to improve through kaizen and shares again
  • Other duties as requested or required
What You Bring:

  • College or university degree in related discipline
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of current and emerging digital / social media platforms
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong project leadership skills with demonstrated experience
  • Strong organizational, leadership, negotiating skills
  • Ability to work across the organization to build alignment and consensus on key initiatives
  • Detail oriented and able to multitask efficiently
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Self motivator with ability to start and complete projects with limited to no supervision

  • Proven ability to initiate & improve work processes to increase efficiencies
Technical Skills (Familiarity with, not all required):

  • Languages: JavaScript, HTML, HTML 5, XHTML, XML, XSLT, CSS, CSS 3, SQL,
  • Frameworks: Angular 1.4, Angular 2, JQuery, Object Oriented Javascript, LESS Preprocessor (advantage), system JS or Require JS, Responsive Web Design Frameworks like Bootstrap, Foundation etc.
  • AEM/UI Components: AEM 6.0
  • Software/application: SOAP UI, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Power PowerPoint, JIRA, MS Project
