The Product & Engineering Manager – Content provides leadership and strategic direction to multiple globally diverse teams in the delivery of a digital marketing platform that drives the commercial transformation for Kimberly Clark. This role is accountable for both product management and engineering.

The senior manager is responsible for digital content platforms including our digital asset management platform (DAM), product information management platform (PIM), packaging content management, content marketing platform (CMP), and related upstream and downstream interfaces including content syndication to external partners.


  • Accountable for the product roadmap, engineering, delivery, and technical operations of digital content platforms globally including DAM, PIM, CMP, packaging content management, related APIs, and syndication services.
  • Partner with stakeholders to manage features and deployment roadmaps and measure and manage market adoption
  • Manage vendors to influence software roadmaps and delivery of features based on agreed SLAs and pricing models
  • Provision technology, including vendor research, request for proposals, and partnering with Procurement on vendor selection and contracts
  • Provide engineering leadership in building a global consumer engagement platform for the digital marketing landscape. Hire and groom world-class engineering talent for building the platform.
  • Deliver innovative, efficient, and cost-effective solutions to meet enterprise needs and to drive business growth and profitability 
  • Recommend and drive the prioritization of content production, management, and delivery decisions for global and regional marketing to optimize value for the product and engineering investments   
  • Demonstrates deep learning agility and promotes a learning culture. Acts and influences as a people leader across the organization. Takes personal accountability for self-development, while building and developing talent around them. 
  • Provides Business Technology thought leadership, bringing knowledge and solutions to drive business outcomes. Thinks ‘digital’ and embraces next generation ways of doing work. 

  • B.S. degree OR a minimum equivalent of 10+ years of experience in information technology leading large, remote, global teams.
  • 7+ years of experience in product or engineering management
  • 7+ years of experience and deep understanding of digital marketing technologies is required, specifically with content and campaign production and distribution.
  • 5+ years of experience as a contributing member of product teams using Agile methodology, develops scope and approach
  • Proven experience in building and operating APIs (SOAP/REST) and microservices in cloud providers like AWS or Azure is a must
  • Proven experience in implementing product information management systems like Stibo Systems STEP or Mediabeacon Content Hub is a plus.
