As part of the Brand Marketing team, the Product Data & Assets Manager will work with Brand Marketing, Channel Marketing, Product Marketing, eCommerce, Sales, IT and others to ensure that product data and supporting assets are complete, accurate and maintained within the PIM & DAM systems and ready to be deployed in our own marketing channels and with distribution partners.

The position will require becoming proficient in the day-to-day management of both the PIM and DAM tools.  This includes the ability to troubleshoot, test, validate, document, and maintain solutions within the PIM/DAM systems.  You will provide training and guidance to PIM & DAM users as we work to enable business users to be more self-sufficient with their data entry and management.

The Product Data & Assets Manager will help drive PIM & DAM planning, strategy, governance, processes, and guidelines.  You will also be responsible for increased areas of collaboration and strategy across senior level projects and task forces, as determined.  Strong project management skills are critical as well as the ability to manage multiple priorities.  Prior experience in product management and/or digital marketing is a plus.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Be the PIM (inRiver) platform champion
  • Develop and maintain data quality standards and product requirements across multiple internal teams and establish processes to maintain
  • Conduct communication and governance meetings with business stakeholders for PIM & DAM performance and improvement initiatives
  • Assist with PIM user training, training documentation and knowledge transfers
  • Provide day-to-day support for users managing product data/assets in the PIM & DAM systems
  • Partner with internal teams such as Product, Brand, Packaging, Engineering & Operations to ensure complete data sets, consistent with defined business requirements
  • Partner with Channel Marketing and Sales Operations to maintain compliance with vendor/partner policies and add additional attributes to the PIM platform as necessary
  • Partner with IT team to ensure PIM data is operating effectively and efficiently with related tools, and other areas of the business
  • Manage, review and analyze reports to improve data quality and business processes
  • Develop metrics for assessing the product data completeness, quality and consistency
  • Lead the implementation of translations within the PIM platform
  • Lead PIM & DAM planning and strategy to deliver a world class digital customer experience
REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Marketing, Analytics or Communications
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with Product Information Management (PIM) systems such as inRiver, Salsify, Stibo. (Experience with inRiver is a big plus)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working in a data, technology, business or marketing role
  • Digital Asset Management (DAM) experience preferred
  • Data analytics and data visualization experience a plus (PowerBI)
  • Experience with SEO, social media, search, display, CRM, eCommerce, and/or personalized content a plus
  • General knowledge of web image assets – filetypes, resolutions, etc.
  • Proficient with MS Suite (primarily Excel & PowerPoint)

  • Ability to communicate at all levels within the organization
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to address audiences of all levels and varying technical knowledge, and the ability to tell a story using data
  • Can manage multiple projects simultaneously, collaborating and working with multiple stakeholders and teams
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills
  • Self-motivated, team player with the ability to coordinate workload independently to complete tasks in accordance with service levels and timelines with a focus on exceeding expectations.
  • Positive attitude with the ability to work well under pressure
  • Passionate about digital marketing, data, technology & optimizing CX + UX in digital activations
