Based in Miami, FL and reporting to the Digital Media Manager, the Digital Media Producer will be responsible for understanding and executing the organization, maintenance and distribution of digital assets for RCCL Digital. The Digital Media Producer is responsible for working with large volumes of content, defining best practices for the long-term use of our DAM software as well as working with development teams to identify and develop improvements. Working as an individual contributor, the producer will be required to collaborate with various technology, marketing and operations teams to help facilitate asset needs from pre-production through post-production and final delivery/cataloguing. By collaborating with brand and marketing partners across the organization, the producer will help translate the brands’ voices stylistically into our digital products and make creative decisions that define the look and feel of assets across all platforms. The ideal candidate will be expected to navigate multiple asset management systems as well as work within a content management system to ensure all digital content is properly organized, tagged and maintained. The Digital Media Producer is responsible for not only delivering quality assets into the DAM but ensuring they look great across all digital touchpoints.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Translate brand/marketing creative direction into our digital products through media curation and production
  • Help identify areas to improve the quality of our assets and shape the look and feel of our digital products through media
  • Identify unique ways to organize and manage the entire digital asset life cycle from creation to distribution, production, and archiving
  • Demonstrate an understanding of legal issues around asset use and create solutions that serve both creative and legal requirements
  • Find elegant and creative solutions to regular system issues in the everyday use and access to our Content and Asset Management Systems
  • Participate and drive the development and maintenance of asset metadata models incorporating industry standards
  • Additional duties and responsibilities as the program evolves

Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in relevant field (Photography, Design, Marketing etc) or equivalent work experience/training
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience working in digital related fields (technology, design, etc)
  • Prior experience in digital media role with proven experience managing large volumes of content
  • Demonstrated experience translating brand and marketing assets into responsive designs
  • Experience in cruise industry preferred
Knowledge and Skills:

  • Demonstrated success working with digital assets: photography & video
  • Able to apply sound judgment while working independently within tight timelines
  • Outstanding attention to detail and commitment to excellence
  • Hands-on technical experience with library systems, content management systems (CMSs), or other large searchable databases used in the creation of web pages, media, and digital products (mobile apps, digital signage)
  • Knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager (or similar) and experience with DAM software
  • Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign) — Photo focused but nice to have some video experience
  • Comfortable working with large volumes of content / experience using Google Sheets and or Excel / Smartsheet to track and communicate progress
  • Proven understanding of image compression, image file types and best practices for media for web and mobile.
  • Experience with JIRA/Confluence or similar Agile collaboration tools
  • Must be well organized, methodical and pay close attention to detail
  • Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Possess excellent written/oral communication skills
  • Able to work well in a highly collaborative cross discipline team
  • Flexible and adaptable in an evolving “start-up” like environment
  • Ability to work with little or no supervision
  • Proactive and solution oriented with the ability to anticipate the larger groups’ needs
