Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Photographer to join our Marketing team in Colwick. You’ll be joining our fast paced in-house Photography team, photographing and retouching both product and people, company events and interiors in customer and partner homes, both locally and nationally. As a Photographer, you’ll ensure that all outputs are stylistically on brand and accurately represent the spirit of the event, products, colours or fabrics, and are it suitable for use across digital and offline channels.
Having a creative flair and passion for your work, coupled with a keen interest in current and emerging interior design trends, is essential for this role.

As a Photographer, you’ll ensure that all outputs are stylistically on brand and accurately represent the spirit of the event, products, colours or fabrics, and are it suitable for use across digital and offline channels.

Photographer responsibilities:
- Plan and execute photoshoots as required, scheduling people, product, location and equipment
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders to brainstorm new ideas for shoots, manage the shot list, and the styling and image review and approval processes
- Coordinate samples and ensure they are kept in excellent condition, ready to be photographed and digitally enhanced
- Support with digitally creating room sets using the latest software techniques
- Retouch, resize, create, and enhance images using Photoshop, Capture One,
- or other photography software
- Responsible for the photography studio and equipment, ensuring it is maintained and meets Health and Safety guidelines
- Responsible for the photography studio and equipment budget
- Play a key role in the management of user generated content (UGC), from recording, reviewing and retouching new assets through to image deletion and GDPR compliance
- Participate in competitor reviews to ensure our photography outputs are best in class
About you:
- An excellent working knowledge of photography, retouching, digital image creation, photographic equipment and lighting
- Experience of working on location and photographing interiors
- Able to confidently use a range of cameras and lighting set ups
- Excellent colour management and colour correction skills across offline and digital channels
- Expert in image editing software including Photoshop, Capture One, Lightroom and also 3D modelling software, with a keen interest in the latest industry technology
- Experience in using digital asset management (DAM) and studio workflow management systems
- Self-starter with strong work ethic
- A natural visualiser, creative thinker and problem solver
- Strong organisation skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Willing to travel as overnight stays may be required in this role
- Additional video skills would be beneficial but not essential
