A day in the life of a Photo-Studio Producer And Digital Content Manager at Timberland looks a little like this.

The Studio Producer and Digital Content Manager is a dual function role to oversee the creation of product photography assets in both external and internal photography studios as well as the management of all Global Marketing assets on Digital Asset Management System (DAM).  This role is a pivotal position on the Global Marketing team with the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams to create end-to-end photography and asset workflows and solutions.

As trusted member of our Global Marketing team, you will report to the Senior Manager, Photo Studio & Project Management.  You will play a critical part in ensuring consistent and quality outputs across the globe and creating a collaborative environment with our regional stakeholders.

Let’s break down that day-in-the-life a bit more.

Photo-Studio Producer will:

  • Manage and oversee e-commerce master excel databases with constant updating and merging of data from the Product Database, External Studio Platforms and Sample Management.
  • Act as the day-to-day liaison with external studio partners to oversee all productions to support e-commerce.  (Manage style out, shop the look, casting coordination.)
  • Manage all post-production needs for e-commerce product photography with multiple established workflows.
  • Oversee the e-commerce tracker from regions with requested changes and needs.
  • Build out external shoot calendars needs 6-12 months in advance, while working cross functionally to support day-to-day delivery dates.
  • Oversee our internal photo studio to include on-going footwear photography needs to support e-commerce and box labels as well as any in-studio photoshoots for Global Marketing.
  • Schedule photographers, stylists, hair and make-up as needed to support the internal studio.
  • Oversee equipment, inventory, supplies, and upkeep of the internal studio.    
  • Support studio needs in overall strategy, implementation, and workflow to DAM.
Digital Content Manager will:

  • Act as the “super” administrator on DAM, supporting regional administrators, onboarding new users, managing architecture, uploading all Global Marketing assets and inputting meta-data.
  • Collaborate with Timberland, IT, the DAM vendor and regional stakeholders.
  • Lead content workflow management to continue to evolve with the changing content environment.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders on integration with Cloudinary.
  • Collaborate with multiple global departments to create end-to-end workflow to support e-commerce photography from studio to website.
  • Oversee and partner with over 300 global active DAM users.    
  • Partner with the 3D Team for seamless integration with 3D DAM.    
  • Audit all current product photography for quality and consistency.
  • Manage cold storage.
What do you need to succeed?

  • Daily accuracy with the master Excel database of regional e-commerce buys.
  • A streamlined end-to-end solution for all studio photography to support e-commerce.
  • A streamlined end-to-end solution for all global marketing content including campaign assets, product photography and videography, and all global copy .
In addition, we all have unique skills that we bring to work and celebrate every day.  For this role, there are foundational skills you’ll need to succeed and excel.  Likewise, while a formal education such as a bachelor’s degree in a related field is great to have, we are most interested in your 5+ years of experience and professional achievements in project management for internal or agency marketing, creative and/or photo studio.   

The foundational skills you will need in this position are:

  • Highly skilled in Microsoft Excel with complete confidence with “Look-up” functions that you will need to utilize multiple times a day    
  • Detailed oriented and passionate about data management
  • Competency in the full Microsoft Office Suite including Word and PowerPoint
  • Experience using MAC operating system is required
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Bridge, InDesign, and Apple Keynote
  • Knowledge of a wide range of file formats to support still, video, social and web content
  • Experience with driving integrations to support DAM Systems
  • A strong ability to multi-task and be comfortable working in fast paced environment with stakeholders based in different time zones globally
  • Motivated self-starter and problem solver
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
  • The capability to perform in a hybrid role with minimum of three days at Timberland’s headquarters in Stratham, New Hampshire
  • Proven experience with digital asset management systems for a large organization
