General Duties and Responsibilities

  • Track incoming campaigns/assets
  • Send/receive data (using ftp, FileCatalyst, Signiant, and other file transfer tools)
  • Ensure that assets received are in the correct formats for use in live projects
  • Inbound QC (quality control)
  • Inter-office QC
  • Outbound QC (as needed)
  • Ingest (filing of digital/media assets, on servers, or DAM systems, according to agreed procedures and structures.)
  • Raise issues with producer/project manager/production agency as appropriate
  • Rename QC’d assets and produce incoming asset reports
  • Ensure that QC’d assets are supplied to appropriate production hub(s)
  • Update Production and Account teams
  • Manage Client/Producer/CI team expectations around campaign planning
  • Anticipate project scheduling issues, advising producers accordingly
  • Cover and/or assist other members of the DAM team when required
  • Support other business units & departments as needed
Client-Specific Duties

  • The role involves providing assistance and cover on all DAM issues, where possible, including some specific requirements for our client, Hasbro:
  • Receive production weekly status updates, maintaining relationship.
  • Coordinate/communicate with Hasbro’s in-house production studio
  • (Cakemix) regarding:
  • delays
  • incomplete/missing elements / corrupt ISCI’s (Ad-ID’s)
  • information relevant to master assets
  • production schedule
  • US master supply
  • Maintain a shared US productions calendar
  • Keep internal Hasbro team (producers and account managers) aware of and updated on any delays
  • Record requests for material, by producers, against a shared calendar and be aware of what markets are interested in what spots
  • Upload ISCI’s (proxies) to DAM alongside factsheet and relevant metadata
  • Ensure all ISCIs on the DAM are kept tidy and up to date
  • Point of contact for Hasbro regarding assets they find on the DAM
  • Upload finished adapts onto the DAM, linking to parent assets (keeping metadata up-to-date, and tidy.)

  • Experience working in post-production environment alongside Account
  • Managers, Producers, and Editors.
Experience & Understanding:

  • Organising large volumes of rapidly moving digital assets including video, audio, stills, PDFs and more
  • Inbound Quality Control (QC) – checking the above files to ensure conformity with procedural requirements
  • Outbound QC
  • Tagging files or DAM systems with relevant and accurate metadata
  • Ensuring dependable and rapid worldwide distribution to clients and suppliers
  • Documenting workflow updates and changes
  • DAM (Digital Asset Management) System/s
  • Microsoft Office 2016
  • Adobe Creative Cloud
  • macOS
