We are looking for a MarTech Manager to support our Canada Marketing & Consumer Data team, working cross-functionally to solve real-world problems through technology and consumer data. You will work closely with stakeholders across the Canada and North America business to develop a deep understanding of functional business processes and collaborate with engineering to drive the development & enhancements to our products focused on the marketing technology stack including our consumer data products and other technologies that support our marketing teams, in-house agency (draftLine) and our commercial organization.  You also will be deeply involved in our Consumer Data strategy, supporting our brands in their data acquisition and activation initiatives while being the local technical owner of our consumer data.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Manage, support and evolve the Marketing Technology Stack for Canada. You will be collaborating with marketing teams, data engineers, developers, product teams, agencies, and business partners to implement, design, and oversee the optimal technology infrastructure to deliver on the Data and Marketing Technology strategy.  
  • Oversee development of product enhancements for our consumer data platforms (CDP, CRM, GCP, etc.) and marketing technologies to optimize marketing and media initiatives 
  • Support our marketing technology stack by overseeing user management, training & capabilities, budget & usage of platforms  
  • Manage and coordinate web assets maintenance & updates requested by commercial & brand teams, while following legal & IT requirements 
  • Guide the efforts of product engineers to design optimal solutions which deliver new marketing capabilities and future-proof our environment 
  • Ensure that proposed solution designs abide by legal, data privacy and IT standards, policies, and procedures 
  • Lead requirements gathering process to provide development teams with clear requirements 
  • Balance business requirements versus technical limitations to ensure product & technology sustainability 
  • Conduct ongoing audits and maintenance in our platforms and digital assets of data flows, tags, triggers, taxonomy, and variables in adherence to data quality and compliance standards
  • Manage prioritization and trade-offs. Communicate effectively with senior stakeholders to reach alignment and consensus on how to mitigate risk, remove blockers, and ensure product delivery. 
  • Launch new features, lead change management, and ensure successful product adoption  
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS  

  • 4+ years of digital project management, technical product management or marketing technology experience
  • Experience leading product vision, strategy, roadmap development, design with focus on marketing technology or consumer data related fields
  • Experience interfacing with multiple tech development areas such as Product Management, Engineering, Design/UX/UI, Marketing  
  • Experience managing day-to-day technical and design direction  
  • Ability to autonomously influence cross-functional stakeholders in challenging scenarios such as prioritization and resource allocation
  • Well versed in agile or scrum methodologies and framework including routines and ceremonies, backlog management, requirements gathering, stakeholder management.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS  

  • Knowledgeable of digital marketing technologies and areas such as: ecommerce, tagging, website & data analytics, DMPs, DSPs, programmatic media, AdTech, platform integrations, social & CRM activations
  • Experience with data architecture solutioning and functional knowledge of SQL and other programming languages (Python, HTML, etc.) is a plus
  • Knowledgeable of consumer data privacy and security
