Lead a globally dispersed data stewards team in administrating and developing the business’ product data management tools, strategy, and owned technical data to support sales and ecommerce goals.
Job Specifications:
- Manage a globally dispersed data stewards team ensuring that staff are engaged, performing to SLA expectations, and developing in their roles.
- Manage the Product Data Management tools and systems including their maintenance and development, to support the creation, storage, cleaning and retrieval of product technical data.
- Act as subject matter expert in technical infrastructure and architecture for PIM tools; keeping up to date with suppliers, best practices, market trends. Partner with GIS, IT and BI technical teams
- Recommend and implement strategies that simplify, standardize, and enable sharing, syndication and automation to the end-goal of minimizing total effort to maintain product data
- Liaise closely with Product Data Production teams to resolve errors in technical data, support data collection and curation, and support business programs/projects.
- Participate as a subject matter expert in key business programs involving product data content and toolkits.
- Typically 4+ years including 2+ years of supervisory experience
Experience with PIM, MDM and DAM tools such as Informatica MDM, Product 360, IDQ, Step Stibo, IBM Initiate, SAP MDG, Riversand, Enterwork Pimcore.

- Interprets and administers policies, processes and procedures that affect direct reports and the workflow of the team/department. Adapts departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges.
- Experience in product data management and governance including the management of product data architecture, processes, lifecycles, systems and tools.
- Assignments are defined in the form of objectives. Decisions are guided by policies, procedures, business plans and independent judgment.
- Collaborates with team, peer managers and cross functional groups. Participates are meetings with external vendors.
- Decisions may have impact on work processes and outcomes. Erroneous decisions or recommendations may result in serious delays and considerable expenditures of additional time, people and resources.
