About the position
The Technical Product Manager will be responsible for helping Carrier identify opportunities to grow and scale it’s capabilities around Carrier’s MarTech applications and Commerce applications. The role will work closely with the Associate Director, SaaS, GTM, and Commerce to craft the vision and strategy of MarTech and Commerce at Carrier. The role, reporting directly to the Associate Director, SaaS, GTM and Commerce, will work across various groups including Finance, Sales, Product Management, Marketing, Operations, and Engineering to align on a shared vision and help drive execution forward. The ideal candidate would have subject matter expertise on MarTech or Commerce tools and an understanding of what it takes to help a legacy business build out commerce and digital marketing capabilities. This person will participate in advising and guiding stakeholders on their transformation journey to hit their global revenue targets.

Primary Responsibilities
- Develop technology solutions that empower marketing teams to execute multi-channel marketing campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including email, social media, and mobile marketing.
- Manage teams building eCommerce solutions on Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Shopify, and other eCommerce SaaS platforms.
- Oversee the build out of Carrier’s core Content Management Systems to create and manage digital content across multiple channels and platforms.
- Develop a global strategy and rollout out plan for enterprise DAM solutions that enable teams to manage and organize digital assets, such as images and videos, for use in marketing campaigns.
- Develop a global strategy and rollout plan for enterprise PIM solutions that enable teams to manage their product catalog and participate in multi-channel selling activities at scale.
- Analyze data from multiple sources to identify opportunities for revenue growth and customer engagement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize website content, product listings, commerce applications, and promotional campaigns.
- Work closely with the Digital leadership team to align marketing and eCommerce strategies with Carrier’s global revenue and customer acquisition goals.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to inform Carrier’s global marketing and commerce strategies.
- Hands-on experience using or managing teams building on enterprise marketing and commerce tools such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Shopify, SDL Tridion, and Bynder.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to inform marketing and eCommerce strategies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of SEO, SEM, and social media marketing best practices.
- Proven ability to lead globally distributed virtual teams, manage projects and deliver results in a diverse stakeholder environment
- Excellent communication skills, and ability to rally team members around a common vision. Strong deck-writing and upward-influencing skills.
- Executive presence and ability to influence senior leaders to drive change

- A minimum of High School or GED completed.
- 3+ years of experience in B2B software and IT services, including product management, customer success, and commerce business models
- 3+ years of experience in business process design for end-to-end optimization of go-to-market and/or back-office standardization.
- 3+ years of experience in building commerce or marketing solutions at scale for midsize and/or enterprise companies.
- Bachelor’s degree
- Played a key role in software business model transformation from perpetual licenses to recurring revenue and SaaS
- The ability to simplify the complex, quickly define core problem and frame the solution approach
- Success collaborating across teams and regions to achieve standardization and drive enablement across the enterprise (pull vs. push strategies to help reps more effectively sell).
