Head of Enterprise Data

• Designing the landscape of enterprise-wide data systems (e.g. DWH, MDM, ETL, …) in both current and future states, in-line with business intent/industry taxonomies/applicable regulations
• Designing the Group-wide Enterprise Data Model (EDM), including metadata and vocabulary standards, in both current and future forms, in-line with business intent/industry taxonomies/applicable regulations
• As required, define the library of Group-wide standard measurement methods, for Group-wide KPI consistency
• Build and maintain a roadmap of data-centric initiatives, with ever-improving alignment to the future landscape & EDM
• Drive practical EDM adoption across the Group by soliciting feedback and active senior stakeholder engagement
• Advise on new data-centric needs around the Group, especially as requirements and solutions are forming
• Closely support, assure and approve the architecture and solution design of information-based systems initiatives, e.g. Data Feed suites, data warehouses and data marts
• Actively participate in data initiatives across the Group, leveraging subject matter expertise for good outcomes  
• Define a federated data governance model, considering vehicles, roles, responsibilities and role-holders
• Pro-actively inform and educate data governance role-holders
• Oversee the operation of other federated governance controls

• Experience in a comparable role with a demonstrable track record of driving change
• Experience in Enterprise Data Modelling
• Previous leadership of enterprise data governance initiatives
• Successful experience of data monetization
• DAMA Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) or equivalent
• Data Governance and Stewardship Professional (DGSP) or equivalent
