Summary:

The Global Product Manager, Hollister Ostomy will be responsible for driving execution of short term global strategy and initaitives to grow Hollister’s Ostomy market share and product sales. This position will have a solid understanding of the global Ostomy market through close collaboration and parternships with local marketing teams. The Global Product Manager will support the development of annual marketing/tactical plans which will also entail liaising with external vendors and managing marketing projects and initaiatives from ideation through to completion and execution/follow-up. The Global Product Manager will have an integral role in the Global Marketing Organisation for Hollister Ostomy, supporting the wider team in identifying products and services needed, planning and executing product launches, executing marketing campaigns and supporting with various business related projects. The Global Product Manager will also lead on wider marketing initiatives including in-depth collaboration with local Business Units, supporting local marketing organisations with adopting global strategies and tactics, increasing compliance with global messaging and tool utilisation and managing the local approval processes through Veeva

Role to be based in proximity to a Hollister office within Europe - not exclusively Winnersh, UK

Responsibilities:

Develop Global Hollister Ostomy Strategy – Upstream Marketing (in conjunction with Global Marketing Managers)

  • Support the compiling of key goals and tactics within the strategic plan for Hollister Ostomy which could include undertaking segmentation and market analysis to quantify market opportunities.
  • Provide input into the global Skin Health messaging strategy as to help ensure it remains aligned with customer needs and supports strategic execution.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with KOL’s, Associations, Client and Consumer Advisory Boards to ensure accurate market and customer insights are folded into strategic planning.
  • Support the coordination and design of market and competitive research and clinician surveys as a means to further collect strategic insights, validate strategic plans and identify market trends which could entail NPD or revisions to strategic direction/execution.
Planning & Executing Global Hollister Ostomy Strategy – Downstream Marketing (in conjunction with Global Marketing Managers)

  • Drive execution of the Annual Marketing Plan (AMP) and key tactical initiatives – creating, launching and following up on key initiatives throughout the course of the year.
  • Consolidate and analyse sales data, highlighting trends and distilling insights as to allow for accelerated execution and performance of marketing initiatives.
  • Liaise with key external vendors as necessary to develop & create key marketing and communication materials ensuring consistency branding guidelines and claims matrices.
  • Work cohesively and collaboratively with local marketing associates and marketing communication peers to deliver messaging and marketing tools and to achieve AMP goals.
  • Collaborate with Customer Experience team to align on timings and content of key digital initiatives which include and/or are targeted towards Hollister Ostomy end-users.
  • Collaborate with Clinical Education team to ensure consistency of imagery, branding and messaging of Hollister Ostomy throughout educational programs and materials.
  • Support Business Units with gathering product information and data supporting product listing, registrations and tender applications.
Develop, Monitor & Collaborate – General Marketing Activities & Projects

  • Lead local Veeva approvals process for Hollister Global Marketing Team ensuring timely review and submission of new assets – liaising with internal stakeholders and external vendors if changes are required.
  • Own Hollister Ostomy area of Digital Asset Management (DAM) system – ensuring current materials are made available and old materials are reviewed/removed as needed in conjunction with wider global marketing team.
  • Support and participate within global projects as needed to represent the global marketing team and voice of the customer/markets.
  • Provides ongoing support to the local businesses including education, training, marketing material and customer focus resources.
  • Collaborate with wider marketing team to drive cross-functional alignment and identification of marketing synergies across the markets.
  • Co-travel with field sales and nursing teams to understand the issues they face (campaign execution), customer needs and market changes.
  • Monitor competitive landscape and compile information about competitive technologies, products, strategies, strengths and weakness – sharing insights accordingly across the global marketing team.
  • Lead frequent reviews of claims matrices to ensure strong clinical argumentation and messaging is in place to allow for effective external communications of Hollister products.
  • Support clinical and customer events as necessary – including planning and project management to attendance and post-event follow-up.
Finance Management/Budgets, Planning and Forecasting

  • Ensure marketing activities are implemented within outlined budget and timings.
  • Responsible for the tracking of the marketing budget ensuring PO’s are raised and captured within COUPA and invoices closed in accordance with financial processes/timings.
  • Capture data on new product launches and conduct internal sales/forecasting analysis as to provide additional marketing insights where needed to achieve revenue targets.
  • Support Hollister Ostomy supply & forecasting processes as required – creating and disseminating customer/internal communications as needed.
Work Experience Requirements

  • Number of Overall Years Necessary: 5-8
  • Medical Device marketing experience and previous knowledge/experience of the healthcare industry.
  • Core product marketing experience and capability including launch planning & follow-up.
Education Requirements

  • Undergraduate/Bachelor’s degree
  • Marketing Qualification preferable

  • Good level of business maturity and experience in marketing
