A member of the Global Content Department within the ASICS Global Marketing Division, the Global Digital Asset Manager is responsible for organizing, managing, and archiving digital marketing assets.  

The Digital Asset Manager is also responsible for helping to develop and manage a global DAM platform for ASICS, in partnership with global content management leadership.  

The Digital Asset Manager will work cross-functionally across internal teams and external stakeholders to guide the digital asset life-cycle from creation to asset delivery through archival. This is a hands-on role, responsible for systems and executional work.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Administer the day-to-day operations of a global enterprise-level Digital Asset Management (“DAM”) system
  • Define, implement, and manage the full life-cycle of all digital assets
  • Define, implement, and manage file-naming conventions, metadata schemas, taxonomies, and user groups
  • Perform routine user audits to ensure all users follow internal compliance measures  
  • Develop workflows for asset ingestion, categorization, permissions management, version control, delivery, expiration, archival
  • Train and onboard new DAM users and assist with questions from existing users  
  • Develop workflows to prevent bottlenecks which result from manual tasks
  • Own the ingestion, organization, and maintenance of the DAM
  • Ensure duplicate and expired files are unpublished and deleted in a timely manner
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to develop the DAM system to address internal and external digital asset needs
  • Support internal and external teams with critical and time-sensitive digital asset requests
  • Act as champion of the DAM system and as a primary expert/superuser
  • Facilitate archiving of content captured by the Content Department
  • Work across departments, and regional and global teams to implement new strategies to achieve significant operational efficiencies and integration with existing systems
  • Drive the continuous development and improvement of our digital content distribution  
  • Provide analysis and reporting on metrics that pertain to usage and lifecycle of digital assets including statistics on audience engagement
  • Make recommendations to Content Department management on policy and process improvements

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in addition to 3+ years of digital asset management experience working with an enterprise-level DAM system
  • Proven experience establishing an asset framework, useful to internal & external clients
