he Director Content Management will lead a team of Content Managers to deliver and implement content management strategies, optimized processes, and excellent delivery to support both core product development and study deployment. The role will work with other content related SMEs to deliver a content strategy for development and implementation as well as re-use of content in DPS products. The role will work closely with technical specialist around digital content management systems and digital asset management processes.

Your key accountabilities will be:

  • Lead the Content Managers and assign relevant resources and skills to the relevant development squads or Study onboarding teams.
  • Develop and optimize our content management process and to be efficient and a high degree of re-usability between studies/products
  • Secure high-quality deliveries from the Content Management community into product development and deployment
  • Define and agree technical requirements for content related systems like CMS, DAM, etc
  • Collaborate with SMEs to develop and deliver a Content Strategy
  • Responsible for stimulating conceptual thinking and creativity and challenging the status quo for continuous improvement.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of business needs and users’ needs to craft the processes, solution and prioritise improvement needs associated with Content Management.
  • Take on all aspects of Line Management including Recruit, Retain & Develop personnel and Manage performance including feedback and rewards
  • Resource planning and assignment of task in group
  • Support DPS Technology LT with input and develop the Product development capabilities in the organisation
  • Facilitate skills and capability training to personnel to support their development
  • Ensure personnel have been trained and work within compliance of ethics, company policies and standard procedures
  • Role model and embed a performance driven culture and coach staff for optimum performance
  • Develop and nurture capabilities of our present and future AZ leaders
  • Provide expertise and direction to support direct reports with proactive problem/risk identification, solution building and issue resolution to facilitate achievement of objectives on time and to appropriate quality
  • Lead and/or co-lead major initiative(s) for process improvements
  • Promote and encourage innovation and creativity
  • Ensure quality and compliance to External Regulations and AZ Standards
  • Work across the Hubs to develop global efficient ways-of-working
  • Provide expert input into functional and cross-functional global processes
Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5 years or more experience in a Content Management position ideally from a start-up environment
  • Great understanding of the Product development process and deployment of digital solutions to clinical trials.
  • Well-developed Project Management skill to be able to support and develop staff.
  • Knowledge about Clinical trial delivery
  • Knowledge of GCP, 21 CFR part 11, relevant guidelines ISPOR, ISOQOL, FDA, EMA
  • Documented leadership skills in a product development organization
  • Knowledge of marketing principles (SEO, audiences, tone of voice and content types)
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross functional setting with internal as well as external partners
  • Ability to challenge the status quo, take ownership and holds self and others accountable
  • Senior Stakeholder management skill with together with proven negotiation, collaboration, and interpersonal leadership skills
  • Effective problem and conflict solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deal with ambiguity and create clarity
  • Passion for Customers, representing the needs of multiple customers in decision making.
Desirable Qualifications:

  • Thrives in a fast-paced work environment, comfortable with complexity and uncertainty at times, lots of humour, dedication to deliver outcomes and motivated by the opportunity to rethink our approach to healthcare.
  • Good understanding of digital ecosystem, digital project management, content management, Content Management Systems (CMS) and Digital Asset Management systems (DAM)
  • Comfort and skills operating in a heavily matrixed organizations with excellent skills and intuition to manage the needs of various partners.
  • Ability to rapidly grasp concepts and excellent ability to handle complexity by simplifying it and providing clear directions to the team
  • Ability to manage and influence strategically and persuade tactfully, to acquire desired outcomes while maintaining effective, positive, organizational relationships
  • Comprehensive understanding of dynamics affecting the pharmaceutical industry and needs for transformation
  • Experience with implementing or the migration of digital content systems.
  • Experience in working with the following software: Jira, Miro and Figma.
  • A strong passion for Health and or working within a Life Science industry
  • Ability to work globally including international travel
