POSITION OVERVIEW

The Digital Product Content Analyst is responsible for leading creative product content maintenance and delivery efforts for a portfolio of North American brands to 1) ensure content accuracy and 2) enable product discoverability within e-commerce channels to drive sales.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • EXECUTION & MAINTENANCE OF CREATIVE PRODUCT CONTENT:
  • PACKAGING REFRESHES: Modify existing creative content packages to accommodate packaging refreshes
  • PRODUCT VARIATIONS: Expand new content to all product variations (sizes and formats); adapt existing content to meet evolving product content standards and customer requirements
  • QUALITY ASSURANCE & METADATA TAGGING: Maintain product content within Product Information Management (PIM) system ensuring content accuracy; apply metadata tags to content within Digital Asset Management (DAM) system
  • OPERATIONS: Support PIM workflows, resolve issues, alert syndication team of new content ready for publishing, support longform content publishing and maintenance
  • PRODUCT IMAGING MANAGEMENT: Lead high resolution product photography process with external vendor, which includes coordination of product samples, approval of color proofs, and validation of content produced. Support team lead in Computer Generated Imagery (CGI) initiative to include delivering packaging graphics files via DAM system to CGI vendor.
  • AUDITING & INSIGHTS: Research and deliver insights to inform product content development (ex: audit competitor content and consumer Ratings & Reviews on ecommerce sites); create product insights reports.
  • REPORTING & ANALYTICS: Maintain team reporting tracker, which involves close coordination with the Project Management Office (PMO) to enable digital product content production efforts for new and refreshed products; prepare and publish quarterly scorecard and performance reports.
  • Support Digital Product Content Team in Product Content Design activities including developing content plans, coordinating creative resources, and managing content review process
  • Support PIM and DAM Team Leads in executing best practices
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Marketing, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • 1 year of professional Digital Marketing, Content Marketing, or eCommerce experience (or internship equivalency).
  • Able to manage a substantial number of projects and tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, organizational, and collaboration skills required
  • Must be proactive, flexible, change-ready, detail-oriented and deadline driven
  • Understands e-commerce platforms and technologies and is able to adapt easily to changes within the space.
  • Understands McCormick brands’ points of parity and points of difference with key competitors.
  • Able to recommend optimized ways of working to enable efficiency and speed without sacrificing accuracy.
  • Well-versed in Microsoft Office programs.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Cooking experience/food and ingredient knowledge
  • Experience using project management/workflow tools
