Job Purpose and Summary

As a Digital Marketing Technology Architect, you have focus on MarTech stack. You facilitate the development of future-state marketing technologies providing overall direction, guidance and definition of customer facing websites supported by Content management systems ( CMS ), Product information management ( PIM ) and Digital asset management ( DAM ).

You accomplish this by identifying and analyzing enterprise and customer business drivers and Canon’s current digital architecture. You recommend solutions for improvement and develop strategies aligning IT to the business in solution design and implementation.

You will have responsibility for the end to end marketing websites architecture including the technology stack to support the performance and rich features of the websites, while ensuring alignment with the business objectives.

What we ask

The responsibilities as a Digital Marketing Technology Architect:

  • Architect, maintain and support Digital marketing efforts for Canon marketing websites,  CMS, DAM, Analytics and other supporting ecosystem
  • Lead the PDA (Project Design Authority) in for architecture topics where marketing domain is leading, or participate in the PDA in case the domain is supporting
  • Effort estimations and support business case creation
  • Direct, review and approve high-level designs produced by the Project Design Office
  • Lead the respective domain design review meetings to ensure early visibility of key new requirements that need architect input.
  • Effectively manage and delegate responsibility and further work to relevant vendor architects
  • Get sign-off for Architectural Definition from Architecture Board
  • Define end to end Architectural blueprint and architecture for the key initiatives in the marketing domain
  • Work closely with business stakeholders and develop an intimate understanding of the business value chain and business processes
You will need

As a Digital Marketing Technology Architect at Canon:

  • You have a proven track record and hands-on experience in delivering full lifecycle, production-scale implementations of websites using one or more of the leading CMS platforms (e.g. Tridion, Sitecore, AEM etc...)
  • You bring experience in architecting and building large-scale decoupled websites, CMS solutions running on cloud and hybrid models as well as trending topics in Content Management like headless CMS and AI usage
  • You have extensive experience of business policies, process to run marketing services like content creations in CMS, PIM, DAM, Translations services, Tagging, Caching, Embargo management
  • You will have an understanding of supporting technologies digital marketing, integrations, migration, web infrastructure, CRM
  • You have experience on PIM for products information and Digital asset management solutions supporting multilingual websites
  • You provide guidance on the people, security, and compliance aspects of CMS implementation
  • You have working experience in distributed cross-functional agile environments
  • You are hands-on and knowledgeable in supporting development methodologies, framework, and technologies such as Spring based frameworks, DevOps, Dockers, Kubernetes, Azure IaaS
