Reporting to the Business Programme Manager, the Digital Content Senior Project Manager will manage all Digital Content activities falling in scope of the Future of Direct & Experience – OXP programme.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Lead all Digital Content initiatives for the Future of Direct & Experience – OXP programme
  • Build a strong Digital Content team comprising the right mix of group, market and third-party delivery partner resources
  • Ensure effective day-to-day management of the Digital Content team
  • Develop strong collaboration with the IT Delivery team around the design and implementation of content structures and the preparation and execution of content migrations
  • Define the appropriate delivery method for the Digital Content team to ensure efficiency and to enable the best possible collaboration with the IT and third-party vendor teams
  • Ensure that the team’s deliverables are completed in time, within budget and to quality
  • Maintain active engagement and collaboration with other teams within the programme, e.g., Creative, Copy, IT Delivery, Solution Architecture, Product Owners, Business Analysis, Business Change
  • Set up the relevant team meetings such as agile ceremonies, progress review meetings, RAID sessions
  • Define the marketing content migration strategy and templates
  • Plan and manage migration of data and content from the source or legacy systems to the new systems (Digital Asset Management, Marketing Resource Management, Journey Building)
  • Produce project plan for the Digital Content team
  • Report progress against the project plan in a timely and precise fashion
  • Proactively identify risks and issues, develop and implement mitigations and resolutions, and escalate to the Business Programme Manager where necessary
  • Manage the engagement of third-party and/or outsourced vendors to deliver any aspects of the Digital Content scope
  • Ensure the required resources are requested and assigned to complete Digital Content tasks
About you

Project Management:

  • At least 5 years’ experience of project management including the delivery of IT system capabilities, e.g., eCommerce, CRM, Marketing Technologies
  • Excellent knowledge of project management methods (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP) and/or agile delivery methodologies (e.g., Scrum, SAFe, DSDM)
  • Experience of using project management tools such as MS Project, Planview, Jira or Monday
  • Ability to develop and successfully lead a multi-disciplinary project team, potentially across multiple organisations and locations (on site, remote, offshore)
  • Enough flexibility to adapt the project plan to new workarounds and other unexpected changes to scope, resource or time
  • Strong focus on quality and excellence
  • Strong leadership qualities
Web Content:

  • Content savvy, with a good understanding of the processes to design, build and publish digital content across web, email and app platforms
  • Ability to manage and find a compromise between multiple commercial, creative and technical stakeholders’ opinions on the content creation processes as well as the content itself
  • Ability to assess the impact of technical blockers to progress and make a strong case for appropriately prioritised fixes
  • Experience and understanding of the technology and consumer goods industry and its challenges and constraints
  • At least 3 years’ experience in the use of prominent web content management (e.g., Adobe Experience Manager, Magento 2) and eCommerce systems (e.g., SAP Hybris or Commerce Cloud)
  • Experience in working with a digital asset management system to efficiently produce, roll-out and re-use creative, copy and other assets to support large digital content production projects
