AEM Content Author

We are looking for an Adobe Experience Manager content author to join our digital experience team and be responsible for authoring all content on our global sites. Strong knowledge and understanding of AEM is required, along with excellent interpersonal skills and a proactive approach to project management and execution. You will be responsible for selecting templates, components, and modules required to build site pages within AEM for three sites, and publishing and rolling out those pages to applicable nodes. You will also add images, video, SEO metadata, and tagging. Content authoring will be done in adherence to brand guidelines and stakeholder input from regional and global teams.

As AEM content author, you will serve on a cross-functional team with digital strategists and a development team to fulfill business requirements and accomplish marketing and communication objectives on a regular cadence.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Asset management
  • Experience fragment creation
  • Workflow and process development
  • Training and documentation for regional authors

Required Skills:

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience with online content production using AEM
  • Strong knowledge of authoring pages in AEM v6.X or higher
  • Enterprise site level authoring experience working with a multisite manager on a large framework
  • Experience with personalization using Adobe Target or similar program
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, for image formatting and editing
  • Ability to troubleshoot all front-end functionality issues
  • Able to communicate confidently and effectively at all levels of the business and to various stakeholder groups, both in writing and verbally
  • Basic proofreading
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Comfortable juggling multiple, concurrent projects with tight deadlines
  • Excellent judgment and the ability to handle escalated situations
  • Self-motivated individual with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to build relationships and work independently

Desired Skills:

  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and/or Java Script
  • Experience in implementing search engine optimization (SEO) tactics
  • Familiarity with Adobe Audience Manager
