What you will be doing...

As Digital Assets Manager you will take on ownership for our important in-house digital asset management solution (DAM), and will become the custodian for our growing library of digital content, ensuring quality and accuracy of all assets held for Jet2holidays and Jet2.com - including photography, video and branded artwork!

Reporting into the Creative Services Manager, you will become the main point of contact for our DAM, supporting both internal and external teams, and ensuring the solution is providing a smooth, interactive and efficient experience.

It will be your responsibility to load & maintain images worthy of the Jet2 image portfolio, where you will play a key role in the production of Jet2holidays marketing material to deliver consistent, quality and relevant brand images that will entice customers to book with us.

What will you do in the role?

  • Take ownership for our company DAM system.
  • Collaborate closely with our Data Control team, and work SMART to ensure images for our large hotel portfolio are made available in a timely manner.
  • Use the Adobe Creative Cloud suite to refine and supply excellent Hotel/Excursion imagery to agreed acceptance criteria.
  • Work alongside our large studio and photography teams, ensuring all new content is made available and easy to find within our DAM.
  • Manage our vast collections of digital assets, and ensure usage rights and availability are up to date, and all transformations available in a timely period.
  • Complete health checks on the DAM Library to ensure all content held is accurate, up to date and clearly tagged so that it can be easily searched by the wider business.
  • Coordinate all requests for stock imagery, providing owned content as alternative where possible and highlighting any opportunities to incorporate into shoot planning.
  • Provide constant feedback on our photography portfolio including shoot suggestions and identifying gaps/refinements so that we have a well-balanced representation of all our destinations.
  • Support access requests at different levels, and help to troubleshoot any problems that may arise.
  • Support new users with basic user training, and ensure summary user guides are relevant and up to date.
  • Identify opportunities to improve our existing workflows, design and implement new processes that will benefit the Creative Services team as well as the wider business users.
  • Review system reports and metrics, and speak with end users to ensure we are getting as much out of the system (and our asset library) as they can.
  • Identify, present and implement opportunities to enhance our assets and overall solution, including automating production and integrating with other systems, both at Jet2 and beyond.
  • Support our internal and external development teams as they deliver improvements and upgrades to our DAM solution.
What are the key skills / experience you’ll already have?

  • Highly organized & creative
  • Ability to manage own workload & work independently both in an office and remotely.
  • Experience working to tight publishing deadlines preferred.
  • Adobe lightroom/bridge preferred.
  • Good knowledge of technical file details and workflows preferred.
  • Ability and willingness to work in teams and independently when required.
  • Strong attention to detail.
