As Digital Asset Manager for the Prime Video Marketing Creative Production & Operations team, you’ll champion best-practices, tools, standards, and processes required for operational excellence and a growing slate of the world’s best content. You’ll work closely with Prime Video Marketing Genre Teams (eg. SciFi/Fantasy, Action/Thriller, Comedy, etc.), and support campaigns that deliver results globally. You are a customer-centric expert in asset management with a passion for large-scale management of A/V, Print, Digital, and other assets.

As part of the Asset Management team you will be part of a pod of genre-aligned Asset Managers responsible for assets being crafted for US and Global launches. You may also have cross-functional responsibilities that fall outside of the Genre team, including (but not limited to) product ownership of Asset Management tools and workflows, administration of access and permissions, and working with product management on a backlog of optimizations.

The Digital Asset Manager is:

  • The Asset Management advocate for metadata, taxonomy, and local and global workflows within a Genre-Pod.
  • A partner to the Creatives, Producers, and Campaign Management Leads assigned within marketing Genre Teams.
  • A quick learner - able to understand and follow stakeholder workflows rapidly.
  • An enabler of team throughput through asset management excellence.
Key job responsibilities

  • Managing marketing assets across multiple campaigns and genres
  • Onboarding agencies to use Prime Video Marketing standards and tools
  • Sourcing 3P assets for licensed titles
  • Providing vendors and partners access to RAW content
  • Training Genre-Pod team and partners on Asset Management best practices
  • Staying up-to-date on content security standards for sharing and tiering categorizations
  • Setting up title folder structures, permissions, user access on Asset Management tools
  • Setting up WIP workflow automations, as applicable to the title
  • QCing, ingesting, and releasing assets to the Prime Video Marketing finals archive DAM
  • Downloading/prepping links for leadership
  • VAM metadata localization, metadata/avails submission, asset delivery into the Prime Video Catalog and working with Content Ops closely to resolve issues and ensure quality control
  • Curating collections of final assets to global marketing partners
  • Handling and resolving final asset search requests
  • Managing internal user account creation and permissions, and performing routine user audits to ensure all users follow internal compliance measures
  • Training and onboarding new users to the DAM system and assisting with questions from existing users
  • Partnering with post-production teams to ingest digital media to the DAM
  • Developing and updating program documentations and wikis
A day in the life

You will work closely with Global marketing teams, Content Security, Creatives, Producers, Campaign Managers, Launch Managers, and external agencies, with deep immersion into day to day operations. You should be comfortable diving deep in to details and continuously improve processes, asset libraries, and customer experiences.

You’ll set the standard for consistent use of metadata and taxonomy within the Genre-Pods. As an excellent multi-tasker, you’ll manage projects with multiple deliverables and ensure deadlines are met across teams and key global stakeholders. As a credible voice for excellence in Asset Management, you are a leader, a collaborator, and an excellent communicator.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of creative services experience
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders
  • Experience working at or with a creative or advertising agency, network, streaming service, or studio
  • Understanding of the workflow within a marketing, production, or creative department or company
  • Working knowledge of metadata creation, management & remediation best practices
  • Experience with high-volume, high-velocity, large-scale file management (workflow orchestration, file-movement, permission management, etc.)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience administering DAMs with an emphasis on managing creative marketing assets within other creative industries like advertising and entertainment marketing
  • Experience educating non-technical stakeholders and working across multiple teams and regions
  • Undergraduate degree in Library Science, Information Science, or Media Production, (or equivalent experience in DAM/MAM operations or admin role), or equivalent work experience
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Deep knowledge of video, audio, and image encoding formats and industry best practices
  • Experience working on or with large-scale, global creative campaigns
  • Previous experience with metadata schema development & input, organizing a large amount of files, high-resolution file transmissions (FTP, servers, etc.), file naming conventions, and database reporting
  • Experience in DAM migration and consolidation
  • Experience with common image editing programs (e.g. Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Bridge, Lightroom, or Capture One)
  • Experience administering DAMs with an emphasis on managing creative marketing assets within other creative industries like advertising and entertainment marketing
  • Previous experience with metadata input, organizing a large amount of files, hi-res file transmissions (FTP, servers, etc.), file naming conventions and database reporting
  • Must be well-versed in the digital space
  • Problem-solving skills and good follow-through essential
  • Ability to multi-task in fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Extremely detail-oriented, organized and a team player
