OB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Digital Asset Manager / DAM System Set up and Rollout Specialist with experience of maintaining a Digital Asset Management (DAM) system, setting up user guides and training and experience of managing complex projects.

As the Digital Asset Manager / DAM System Set up and Rollout Specialist you will work within the in-house Creative Team to drive forward the delivery and implementation of the new digital media library, Chorus.

The role of the Digital Asset Manager / DAM System Set up and Rollout Specialist is responsible for managing the setup, migration, and rollout from IMS (existing library) to Chorus, working with multiple internal stakeholders across the organisation.

Whilst the role is within the Creative Team, the system is used by the whole organisation, including Fundraising, Volunteering and Communications, to store photography, case studies and marketing assets.

DUTIES

Your duties as the Digital Asset Manager / DAM System Set up and Rollout Specialist will include:

  • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to develop processes that will optimise efficiencies in the distribution of creative assets and ensure the rest of the organisation has access to correct, up-to-date branded assets
  • Work closely with IS to ensure the implementation of Chorus works alongside other company systems and infrastructure
  • Work with and engage pre-identified ‘super users’ across the charity to create and provide training
  • Liaise directly with Third Light to manage the migration of data to the new platform
  • Create, implement and maintain a new folder architecture to best support the needs of various teams across the charity
  • Ensure the new platform is adopted effectively across the charity and identify opportunities for best use of the platform where necessary
  • Create training documentation for correct usage of the system e.g. process for correctly uploading and downloading assets; creating a new account
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Essential

  • Experience of maintaining a Digital Asset Management (DAM) system (or similar)
  • Previous experience in managing complex projects
  • Experience of setting up user guides and training for colleagues across departments
  • Previous management of DAM and/or project management systems within a high-volume studio or creative agency
  • Thorough knowledge of DAM systems and how they contribute to business needs
  • Expert knowledge of different meta-data standards and GDPR regulations
  • A self-starter with an ability to effectively communicate, collaborate and influence across groups
  • Strong people skills with the ability to build strong relationships with internal teams, stakeholders, and external partners
  • A can-do positive attitude, natural problem solver and pragmatic approach
  • A passion for systems and data
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail orientated, excellent organisation and time management skills
