The Role

  • Facilitate strategic decisions and the creation of a tactical plan surrounding development and implementation of target state processes and technology (including relevant business readiness and change management considerations, as well as integration with or migration of content.
  • Partner with key business leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to lead the continued development of the DAM vision, guiding principles, prioritized use cases/end-user experiences, high-level requirements, and roadmap.
  • Define project scopes and craft business requirements documentation with input from relevant stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain a metadata entry protocol. Work with various stakeholders across the organization to define metadata and taxonomy guidelines. Actively promote data consistency to support common standards and analytics.
  • Establish periodic data verification review processes to ensure data accuracy and to support easy and consistent search and delivery of assets.
  • Collaborate with various departments (clients), producers, photographers, editors, graphic artists, and motion and visual designers to achieve the finished product upload into the DAM.
Responsibilities

  • Assess project KPIs post-launch (qualitatively and quantitatively) Craft a 1 through a 3-year roadmap for incremental process improvements and DAM strategic direction for global corporate use
  • Solicit, review, and incorporate feedback from the team as works best.
  • Train team members and end-users on DAM use best practices.
  • Receive feedback bi-annually through reviews aforementioned  
  • Partner with the Associate Director and Head of Production, Brand to enhance our compelling brand vision, architecture, and creative voice across departments globally.
  • Set expectations and manage schedules effectively yet in a flexible manner showing solution-focused thinking beyond problem identification.
  • Ensure output executes against creative targets for all project team members.
Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience managing an enterprise content management or digital asset management system for a large client or company
  • 7+ years in project management, technology-related implementations, and/or strategic planning roles
  • Desirable: A Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) degree
  • Desirable: Active engagement in the DAM community
  • Skilled in managing a high volume of creative and content
  • Passion for mission-driven brands
  • Expert aptitude in project management tools like Basecamp, Asana, etc. You are proficient: You have deep experience executing brand and product strategies across various content types. You bring your brain to the table as well as your awesome creative and logistics skills addressing every detail to bring the brand to life.
  • You are creative: You have deep knowledge and command of the concept and execution of product + brand communications and how to collaborate with a cross-functional team to get a project done. You are always in ‘idea mode’ and know how to bring people along in your thinking.  
  • You are a team player: You thrive collaborating with teams and building ideas. You listen to others to solve creative challenges and take direction when needed. You can act either as a leader or as an active participant in meetings, according to the business needs.  
  • You are effective: You are highly organized and your verbal and written communication is clear and professional as you manage high volume creative guiding various project clients, teams and talents in parallel toward the project goal.
