The Headlines:
The digital asset manager will collaborate with key members of the business to create the digital asset management strategy and vision for MolsonCoors, which will ultimately support the company’s wider objectives and goals. The person in this role will partner with other internal leaders across marketing, sales, executive leadership, communications, development and client teams to design, implement and continuously improve the digital asset management platform and ensure compliance.

The Headlines:
The digital asset manager will collaborate with key members of the business to create the digital asset management strategy and vision for MolsonCoors, which will ultimately support the company’s wider objectives and goals. The person in this role will partner with other internal leaders across marketing, sales, executive leadership, communications, development and client teams to design, implement and continuously improve the digital asset management platform and ensure compliance.
The Responsibilities:
- Manage/Update global taxonomy, metadata schema, home page - stewarding and standardizing across BUs - ensuring alignment and compliance with each BUs business requirements without sacrificing. Assess/Create DAM efficiencies for enterprise.
- Managing and updating user permissions, permissions groups, asset accessibility and usage approvals ensuring legal compliance and correct asset usage.
- Gather/Update business requirements from both end users (1,000s of US distributor users) and contributors to ensure evolving assets needs are incorporated. Expertise in print/production standards to ensure assets are delivered in the correct format. Migrates and maintains the data and its integrity from production asset management to the archival DAM
- Establish/Manage asset archival strategy and associated permissions. Appropriately Curates the types of assets being archived, adapting the scope as the business requires.
- Ensuring 100% US BU DAM Compliance across stakeholders . Trains contributors (agency, brand, GBS) on the Digital Asset Management system (how to upload, required metadata by BU & asset type, updating SOPs, managing a DAM upload form), content usage processes, and ensure uploaders are properly trained in and meeting standards for the clean and consistent setup metadata
- Legal liaison to ensure assets are properly utilized by location, updating terms and condition, taking corrective legal action including required communication
- DAM quality control, and owns strategy around reporting usage and auditing content. Owns current and future DAM integrations (PIM, BeerMate, etc.)
- Minimum of 5+ years of industry experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
- Strong knowledge of DAM, metadata taxonomy, SEO best practices, strategy principles, and concepts for assets and digital content
- Solid knowledge of web publishing and content management systems best practices/standards
- Solid knowledge of media Digital Rights Management (DRM)
- Sound experience in data governance, standards, and process development
- A well-organized and highly structured individual with the ability to give attention to detail
- Profound project management skills.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to apply data in providing solutions and driving strategic business decisions
- Outstanding organizational, communication, relationship-building, and collaboration skills at all levels
