Position Summary

The Digital Asset Manager will collaborate with key stakeholders to advance Scientific Games’ digital asset management strategy and vision.  They will work with leadership to define and periodically refine the roadmap for coordinating our DAM capabilities in support of wider company objectives of efficiencies and revenue growth. The ideal candidate will cultivate excellent working relationships across creative, marketing, proposals, sales, and other teams to implement processes and systems to enhance our enterprise DAM capabilities.  They will support content development, curation, and publishing, as well as improved audit-ability, tracking, risk management, and the efficiency and agility of business operations.

Job Functions:

  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to lead the development of the DAM vision, guiding principles, use cases/end-user experiences, high-level requirements, and roadmap
  • Define project scopes and author business requirements documentation with input from relevant stakeholders
  • Maintain ever-evolving roadmap for incremental process improvements and DAM strategic direction
  • Develop and maintain a metadata entry protocol. Work with various stakeholders across the enterprise to define metadata and taxonomy guidelines. Actively promote data consistency to support common standards and analytics
  • Establish periodic data verification review processes to ensure data accuracy and to support easy and consistent search and delivery of assets
  • Develop training materials targeted to a variety of end users.
  • Maintain and contribute to standards and governance by being abreast of industry best practices
  • Administer and maintain DAM and other related systems.
  • Other duties as defined.
Qualifications

  • Position3+ years of experience managing an enterprise content management or digital asset management system for a large client or company
  • 3+ years in project management, technology-related implementations, and/or strategic planning roles
  • Strong knowledge of DAM, metadata taxonomy, and SEO best practices, strategy principles and concepts for assets and digital content
  • Knowledge of web publishing and content management systems best practices/standards
Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to maintain positive working relationships as part of a team
  • Ability to use and leverage technological tools (e.g. laptop computers, lottery terminals, etc.) to meet position requirements
  • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with NetX highly desirable
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Working knowledge and understanding of different image/graphic file types
