The Asset Manager, Creative Operations is a 3-month cross-functional project role to review and restructure our digital content on the GDrive and create, define and implement asset management processes with the wider team. This role involves restructuring, ingesting, documenting, organising, and maintaining assets in the company GDrive used by our internal teams. Additionally, the role will define and document the asset platforms, workflows, and processes and mentor the team in streamlining our creative functions.

Responsibilities

Global Asset Management – Conducting a full review and re-structure of digital content and establishing processes and tools related to collecting, curating, cataloging, retrieval, and socialisation of digital content.

  • Review and re-structure our creative assets/files/documents on the GDrive.
  • Create consistent filing and archiving processes for all creative department output. Includes ingestion, annotation, metadata, cataloging, storage, retrieval and distribution of global digital assets.
  • Work with the team to establish file naming conventions.
  • Establish processes for the obtainment of final asset approvals from necessary stakeholders, and communicate to all internal and external partners when delivering.
  • Train the team on proper usage and best practices.
  • Develop and execute effective and targeted content socialisation and reporting processes
  • Establish and align asset ingestion process, organisation and maintenance of internal creative file systems.
Requirements

  • Be a GDrive Pro
  • In-depth knowledge of file formats (print, digital, video) and media usage rights terminology
  • Must have experience coordinating large studio teams, and working directly with Designers, Creative Directors, Project Managers, Production and Technology / Engineering Teams
  • Adept at building collaborative partnerships across teams
  • Excellent communication, problem solving, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work effectively as a member of a cross-functional team
  • Ability to design/extend cataloging taxonomy and define content policies
