Administers digital asset management (DAM) systems and processes used to create written and visual resource repositories and archives. Responsible for gathering all assets and performing all levels of quality checks. Maintains the Turtle Wax brand’s digital asset lifecycle, working cross-functionally with numerous departments to synergize asset development, organization and ultimately syndication. In addition, operates as a core member of the marketing communications team, assisting in a variety of omnichannel projects.

 

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Recommends and maintains processes and solutions related to digital assets, including but not limited to photos, videos, copy, brand guidelines, and product fact sheets.
  2. Operates as a conduit between various departments (including IT, Communications, E-Commerce, Creative and Sales) to manage and see-through digital asset requests and distribution (both to internal and external stakeholders); Creates best practices and drives efficiencies throughout the creative workflow that also allows for global use/reuse and access of digital assets.
  3. Works with existing processes to organize and manage digital assets for optimization.; Develops and implements strategy associated with the cataloging, annotating, storage, retrieval, and distribution of creative digital assets for continued process improvement.
  4. Recommends and implements new or updated digital asset management solutions as well as digital asset syndication solutions that are time and financially efficient, in addition to actively assessing performance of existing solutions.
  5. Actively promotes data consistency to support common standards and analytics, and help Improve D.A.M. operations management, ensuring regulatory compliance.
  6. Collaborates with various teams, including e-Commerce, R&D & Innovation, to subsequently and proactively identify marketing responsibilities, mapping out timing for marketing projects, product launches and go to market stages.

  • Assists team members in other key marketing initiatives, including but not limited to events, copywriting, ratings & reviews program, assists in developing innovative new product ideas via Innovation Team.
  • Communicates regularly with agency partners as well as other external vendors/partners and supports retail partner initiatives (e.g., trade shows).
  • Monitors portfolio health and supports product lifecycle management.
  • Supports Marketing Director in developing integrated communications planning and delivery, including social media, SEO, ratings and reviews, events, and user generated content.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field preferred.
  • 2 – 4 years of experience desired in related marketing role.
  • 2 – 4 years of experience cataloging or metadata creation experience and experience using a digital asset management system.
  • Basic knowledge of marketing practices and principles, including market research, product development, and marketing communications.
  • Experience and clear understanding of metadata schemas and taxonomy development, file-naming conventions, database reporting, DAM.
  • Process-oriented with good project management skills; ability to handle multiple projects at once and competing deadlines.
  • Ability to write creative briefs and evaluate creative and design projects.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Knowledgeable in data analysis and consumer insights.
  • Experience in consumer-packaged goods a plus.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
