Position Overview
As part of the Marketing Operations and Technology team, you will join a group that drives the strategic vision and develops the Marketing Technology roadmap. Working within the Content Technology team, the Digital Asset Management (DAM) Librarian will collaborate with key stakeholders to codify and implement digital media asset metadata standards and workflows. In close partnership with the Director of Content Technology and DAM Product Manager, the DAM Librarian will provide day-to-day operations and long-range strategy for cataloguing, asset lifecycle, archiving, metadata governance, publishing, and other administrative tasks for the DAM. The DAM Librarian will help lead user training and assist users with all aspects of the system; develop and maintain systems and product documentation and user workflows and policies. Responsibilities
Digital Asset Management
- Manage Digital Asset Management operations and requirements including user intake, uploads and publishing based on stakeholder needs
- Perform task Content Lifecycle including cataloguing, governing, publishing and archiving assets within the DAM platform
- Establish a DAM operations roadmap to drive enhancements with people, process and technology
- Provide feedback and user acceptance testing of new capabilities in conjunction with DAM product manager
- Track and measure success of DAM operations and ensure adoption of capabilities in conjunction with DAM product manager
- Serve as the voice of our stakeholders in decisions made with the vendor regarding future capabilities and enhancements
- Conduct industry analysis to determine best-in-class solutions and cutting-edge capabilities for the business
- Collaborate with other functions on taxonomy and information architecture for alignment and best practices
- Conduct stakeholder interviews, status meetings and create content for platform and organizational status updates
- Keep stakeholders informed of operations changes and take in feedback to drive new improvements
- Work closely with stakeholders and partners to test and drive usability
- Conduct review sessions, demos and other training and enablement to ensure user acceptance and adoption
- Analyze industry best practices, innovations and trends for information and DAM management
- Determine best-in-class operations aligned with business goals and outcomes
- Bring innovation and experimentation into the operations and improvements using qualitative and quantitative evidence
- Strong communication skills and ability to turn technology into a story for business stakeholders
- 1-3 years of experience, preferably in roles combining marketing and technology with digital asset management
- Ability to succeed in a large, highly-collaborative, cross-functional organization
- Self-starter with a positive "Can-do” attitude
- Undergraduate degree in Business, Marketing, Management and Information Systems or Information Management or a related field
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to adapt communication style for the audience
- Ability to facilitate effective meetings
- Explain complex problems to multiple audiences, both internal and external
- Ability to break down complex problems into actionable steps
