About the role:

Do you have a passion for improving global processes that support content creation, approval and distribution? Our team is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Digital Asset and Content Specialist.

As a member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting and driving adoption of our Digital Asset Management (DAM) system. You will help drive Content Workflow processes that support the efficient creation, distribution, and publishing of content across channels globally. You will collaborate with business roles including Marketing Communications, Digital Marketing and Marketing/Content Operations. Additionally, you will help to support marketing processes required by the BSC Quality and Compliance Systems. This role will report to the Marketing Operations Manager, Integrated Marketing Communications.

Your responsibilities will include:

Asset Management:

  • Manage the Digital Asset Management (DAM) system which will house all final approved digital assets and content to be accessed globally.
  • Responsible for managing and maintaining all content across commercial organization; i.e. taxonomy, file naming, metadata tagging, indexing, cataloging and archiving.
  • Manage final design files and assets to ensure they are easily shared and accessed across the organization.
  • Own and manage daily operations of the DAM and Content Approval Workflow/Project management system, acting as a main point of contact for training and user support.
  • Define and activate processes to help highlight newly available assets to the global marketing community.
  • Support content management best practices to ensure compliance and to provide dependable and efficient access to assets worldwide.
  • Drive new functionality process for the endoscopy business partnering with multiple stakeholders; prioritize and recommend functionality to corporate owner.
  • Develop and manage reports as needed.

Compliance and Content approval:

  • Support content approval and stewardship as part of the PSST (Promotional Sales Support and Training) process across the global commercialization team.
  • Backup SME for content review system, performing final verification and release of approval records.
  • Backup SME for review system user support, transfer of records, troubleshooting, reporting requests.
  • Support content expiration activities and work with appropriate stakeholders.
  • Support content and compliance projects as requested.

What we're looking for in you:

  • Bachelor’s degree  or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 3 years experience working in Digital Asset Management (DAM), Web Content Management (WCM), or Marketing Operations.
  • Knowledge of taxonomy and metadata structures; Understanding of maintaining and improving taxonomy & metadata schemas within a DAM.
  • Experience working in regulated environments, and in handling content compliance requirements preferred
  • Demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Must be team-oriented, possess a positive attitude and work well with others; able to effectively collaborate in a global, cross functional team environment.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a flexible, fast paced and challenging environment.
  • Experience with project management, demonstrated ability to think strategically and prioritize.
  • Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and results-focused.
