As Data Engineering Architect you will have the responsibility of driving key data sourcing and ingestion initiatives working alongside multiple agile features teams across Non-Financial Risk Management (NFRM) value streams. You will have the responsibility for the end to end data architecture including effective design and architecting the suite of 12 applications, ensuring alignment to bank wide strategic pillars, standards and compliance with data and architectural principles. You will be expected to work in close collaboration with multiple NFR value streams (including liaising with key roles such as release train engineer, business sponsor, product manager, product owner, scrum master and development leads) to drive common enhanced NFR taxonomies, value stream data sharing strategy and define data driven risk management services for holistic end-to-end management of non-financial risks.

- Support and drive software and architectural design activities
- Design and implement effective database solutions and models to store and retrieve data
- Examine and identify database structural necessities by evaluating client operations, applications, and programming
- Prepare accurate database design and architecture reports for management and executive teams
- Oversee the migration of data from legacy systems to new solutions and monitor the system performance by performing regular tests, troubleshooting and integrating new features
- Hands on architecture and design experience leading development teams in delivery-focused environment.
- High level of technical skill across a wide range of technology platforms and ability to use and learn new frameworks, libraries and technologies (Strong knowledge of Oracle database11x,12x,19x, experience with Exadata and ExaCC)
- Data-modelling and database expertise including logical, conceptual and physical data modelling alongside development of design and architectural diagrams and materials in variety of forms depending on the purpose and audience.
- Experience with Google Cloud services along with data service integrations
- Good to have exposure to Big data technologies and experience with BI tools like SAP Business Objects or Cognos reporting
