DAM Expert / Strategic Sales Specialist

Position Summary:

We are seeking a passionate, entrepreneurial professional with deep background in incubation sales and extensive experience selling Marketing Technology software to help build our US DAM and Personalization business.

The Strategic Solution Specialist is the subject matter expert responsible for supporting the field sales organization in business development and sales efforts in his or her assigned geography ensuring consistent and rapid growth in sales of Sitecore Content Hub.

The Strategic Solution Specialist is a motivated key member of the sales team and adds value by his or her understanding, network and hands on experience of the Marketing Technology industry and more specific in the domains of Digital Asset Management.  He or she will work in close contact with the Enterprise Seller, the Sales Engineer team, professional services organization and partner organization to respond to inbound and outbound leads, RFPs, client requests, demos, participate in marketing and customer events and perform all activities needed to successfully close new business.

The Strategic Solution Specialist will report to the Senior Vice President of Sales for Sitecore Composable DXP.


  • Drive Digital Asset Management booking goals in US
  • Assisting in building a sales pipeline
  • Spotting market opportunities for new customer acquisitions
  • Support product sales through all routes to market, i.e. partner channel, direct sales, strategic alliance, technology partnerships, etc.
  • Successfully close new sales opportunities and achieve monthly/quarterly/yearly targets
  • Manage and maintain good working relationships with stakeholders (partners, consultants...) in the Marketing Technology space
  • Be an expert at targeting, approaching, contacting new contacts and showcasing and selling the Content Hub.
  • Follow up on sales qualified leads
  • Attending industry events and conferences to generate new business leads.
  • Act as a spokesperson for the organization at sales events and conferences.
  • Continuously assist in improving the sales process and tools
  • Identifying key areas for improvement in the sales process
  • Be a great team player with your colleagues in other departments or offices

  • Experience with Digital Asset Management
  • Comfortable with accountability of specific sales targets
  • Experience with matrix selling role
  • Superior communication skills, ability to articulate key messages clearly and explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience
  • Ability to engage in discussions around revenue growth, ROI and TCO with business decision makers (usually C-Level or SVP/VP)
  • Ability to engage with marketing professionals (Director level or below) who are concerned with optimizing customer experience, next best action and revenue generation
  • Ability to convey technical benefits to IT audience who are concerned with solution fit and integration into existing solution ecosystem.

  • Self- motivated and creative; having the natural drive to learn and pick up new challenges

  • 5+ years’ experience selling Digital Asset Management products
  • Proven track record of achieving targets and driving sales growth
  • Excellent verbal and written presentation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a continuously evolving product
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent work experience.
