For our Brand Franchise Group in the Global Studios, London we are therefore looking for a Content Asset Manager.

Purpose of the role:

  • Ensure quality of content and user experience in PMI’s new enterprise content management system (an Adobe DAM)
  • Create guidelines, deliver training sessions
  • Establish asset management workflows
  • Define and lead folder structure, taxonomy and metadata insertion
  • Establish and implement the enterprise content management change request process
  • Ensure quality and searchability of assets
  • Ensure assets are correctly tagged and stored in correct folders
  • Ensure content meets accessibility requirements
Accountabilities:

  • Our Content Asset Manager will be responsible for:
  • Supervising the handling of digital assets throughout the production workflow
  • Identifying opportunities to simplify how content owners and suppliers provide or consume digital assets
  • Work with the Enterprise Content Manager, the Content Production and IT teams, providers (including Adobe) and agencies to align production workflow practices.
  • This will include the backup, retention and archive strategies, maintaining and enhancing content quality
  • Collaborating closely with partners (PMI and third party) to supervise the migration of assets from existing systems to the Adobe DAM
  • Ensuring the integrity of asset metadata, including:
  • Appropriate naming conventions, maintaining metadata and taxonomy structure
  • Our sharing protocols
  • Search and retrieval
  • Develop standard methodologies for describing, searching and sharing digital assets
  • Version control
  • Rights management
  • Working with local and global creative and production teams and content owners to ensure timely availability of digital assets
  • Be the first escalation point for system/process issues, assessing impact level and raising tickets with the DAM solution provider
  • Assisting in the tracking and reporting of workflow productivity
  • Leading and training internal users and monitoring best practices
  • Creating and handling our metadata, lifecycle management and archiving policies
  • Providing ad-hoc support for internal and external third-party agencies
  • Providing feedback to ECM team for advancements in usage or experience of existing systems
  • Liaise with ECM and IT department to develop and maintain content owners and third party DAM access, managing appropriate, ongoing access
Required Skills:

  • Experience in managing digital assets
  • Experience in working within the advertising & marketing industry
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite applications with a high level of technology literacy as it applies to the interfacing of DAM solutions to Adobe solutions on both Mac and Windows platforms
  • Detailed understanding of the creative technology environment
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Team player who is not averse to challenging assumptions
  • Self-sufficient in time management and the financial consequences of such
  • Innovative and problem solving with strong interpersonal skills and interest in collaborating with a wide range of stake holders
  • Methodical, meticulous with passionate attention to detail
Relationships:

  • Work across Internal Production teams and external Production Agencies. Establish working relationships with appropriate third Parties
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with key owners of marketing and creative functions (such Brand team, toolbox owners, creative directors and copywriters
  • Build strong working relationship with PMI ECM team
Knowledge & Skills:

  • To be articulate and able to communicate complex principles in a concise and simple and concise manner.
  • To be highly motivated and strive to deliver beyond expectations.
  • An extensive knowledge of Production Processes and related Studio hardware and applications.
  • Extensive project management and implementation skills
  • In-depth knowledge of the end-to-end marketing process
Professional Experience

  • Extensive experience in a Creative Advertising/Creative Production Agency or in-house production facility
  • Managing at a senior level, in complex matrixed organisation, with multiple stakeholders
