The role

We are building the future of editorial with plans to launch a new editorial hub in 2022. We are focused on developing a content infrastructure that supports our content goals. We are looking for an experienced, passionate and knowledgeable Content Architect to assess our content objectives, understand current and future workflows, content requirements, governance and taxonomy to design a content model that achieves specific team or company content goals. The Content Architect will be tasked with supporting the design of a content model, development of taxonomy tree, workflow design and support for migration. Our goals are (1) support the highest quality and most relevant content for customers. and (2) create the greatest efficiency for teams to produce and publish content

The responsibilities

  • Recommends best structural approach for the complete editorial content model (back-end content structure) to ensure content can be re-used in a variety of situations, and across channels easily and effectively, and that the most efficient content creation processes are embedded into our bespoke CMS structure.
  • Define content model for editorial platform
  • Design the taxonomy for editorial content collaborating with Editorial, App & Webcore, EMK and Content Solutions teams on integration where required.
  • Support the audit and migration plan for the content, ensuring best practice processes and efficiency
  • Ensures content model can support current creative and translation style guides (copy & visual) and recommends changes for any gaps.
Key Skills and experience required for the Procurement Coordinator role

  • 8 years experience working with large organisations on CMS architecture
  • Experience working with global organisations on multi-language content products
  • Fluency defining the core structure of each content item, including topics and metadata, workflow and governance
  • Experience working with diverse CMS platforms including headless CMS platforms
  • BS degree in Information Science, Library Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Experience translating business needs into scalable and sustainable information models
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS)
  • Experience with content management using HTML and XML/DITA
  • Experience supporting a multi-language content/publishing environment
