- Brand strategy implementation
- Actively participate in the creation of the BMI Group brand role and purpose
- Manage our visual identity and brand assets, with guidelines and templates available for all key marketing collateral
- Brand Management
- Working with the Head of Brand and CX, support the development of the brand structure
- Build relationships with the marketing teams in each country / business unit and be the brand champion
- Manage the Marketing & Sales Workplace Community
- Be the SME for a Group DAM solution (Digital Asset Management) for brand assets in close collaboration with the country teams
- Develop and own BMI brand Guidelines and support development of business brand guidelines
- Take responsibility for responding to requests for tactical brand support / decisions e.g. logo usage, identity usage queries, office imagery etc
- Develop brand solutions for packaging with Group portfolio management and country teams
- Brand Activation
- In collaboration with the Digital and Professional Engagement teams, develop tool kits for brand awareness growth and brand development
- Identify topics that support our brands in respect of a systematic thought leadership and influencer management process
- Build a network of key opinion leaders
- Develop insights on our key customer segments to create a competitive advantage
- Together with the Head of Brand & CX support the creation of our customer personas and their journey in collaboration with Insights and other Group functions
- Create content for key strategic initiatives and engage with countries to implement campaigns driven by customer segment and persona insights
- Marketing Budget and Cost Management
- Manage the budget for the marketing initiatives and support other group functions
- Identify group agency/s and manage relationships on a day to day basis as a resource for Group Marketing
- Liaise with countries and Procurement to continuously identify efficiencies and cost savingsRelationships and matrix working
- Build internal and external knowledge working with country sales and marketing teams, the Technical Centre, BMI Academies to be a strong support partner for the portfolio management
- Build strong working relationships with content creators, the Roofpro professional engagement team, local country marketing functions and digital marketing teams (locally and centrally)
- 5-10 years of extensive marketing experience (ideally including B2B Marketing)
- Leading and managing external agencies
- Experience leading and working with local, regional and global marketing teams - developing initiatives & toolkits for use across multiple markets
- Experience leading cross-functional teams to leverage brand changes and drive business transformation
- Proven influencing and relationship building skills
- Ability to work collaboratively both upwards and at peer level with functional and business colleagues in various stakeholder groups (e.g. Sales, Marketing, R&D, Supply Chain, other Group functions)
- Proven digital skills with practical experience in website development, Social Media and other communication efficiency tools
- Expert presentation, verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas in easily understandable terms to all
- Fluent in English, other European languages a plus
- Building Materials & Construction industry experience a plus
- Comfortable and thriving in a dynamic matrix environment
- Business-outcome oriented with great interpersonal skills and ability to learn fast
- Communicate clearly and effectively at all levels within and outside the organisation
- Inquisitive personality who likes to work across countries and functions
- Able to travel within Europe
