Overview

As a Brand Content Manager your role will be to implement the own brand visual identity and tone of voice for a particular brand or set of brands across all brand content to ensure that a brand remains recognisable, up to date and exciting to customers. The Brand Content Manager is responsible for full consistency of content for the brand, whatever the channel.

Responsibilities

Key Accountabilities/ Responsibilities:
For a particular brand or sets of brands:

Strategy:

  • Plan the content production activities following the brand communication plan, identifying cross brand or categories opportunities and economies of scale according to business (own label) needs
  • Consolidate requirements – working with production team to form production plan
  • Safeguard the brand identity, tone of voice and regulatory compliance in all brand content, both internal and external across every required content created
  • Audit content to re-use existing assets where relevant
  • Accountable for delivery of assets on time and in budget.

Operations:

  • Set and manage content production budgets
  • Project manage all the briefed communication asset developments for the own brand for each communication channel (except packaging managed by the packaging team)
  • Digital product data, and any required photography or video
  • Range POS as per banner requirement
  • Own a full brand clinic process to ensure assets are seen, commented and progress smoothly to validation by stakeholders on time
  • Acquire and validate all assets required from Vendors
  • Publish and manage all content on DAM accurately

Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience working in a content creation role with experience of multiple types of marketing channels
  • Trade content experience is preferred which includes knowledge of the Pro customer audience and the content they respond to and experience of bringing to life technical products through content, particularly within digital channels.
  • Production agencies management (from pitch to selection to negotiation and production supervision)
  • Proven capabilities in budget management
  • Extremely organised and comfortable managing, tracking, and reporting on various projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to thrive on working in a matrixed, always-on, environment across multiple time zones and teams
  • Proactive - taking responsibility to get things done and willing to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in
  • Innovative – enjoying figuring out new tech, testing, learning, and trying new things
  • Global experience preferred
