Assistant Brand Manager – Web Content Author

What you will do:

The Milwaukee Tool website is the ultimate source of truth for Milwaukee users across the country. We are looking for a Web Content Author within the Brand Team that creates and manages web content within our CMS to commercialize new Milwaukee Tool products and implement website initiatives to drive traffic for contests, events and more.

Ideal candidates are outstanding communicators with strong organizational skills and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven role. Strong problem-solving skills, independent self-direction, and an aptitude for team collaboration are requirements.

Individuals should be driven, possess the ability to learn, and prioritize tasks for the fast-paced digital environment while considering end-user, business, and stakeholder needs. Translations will be a high priority and will be a crucial component for the end-to-end process of product commercialization in both languages. Candidates will have a sharp eye to spot errors and inconsistencies and will be able to correct them in a timely manner to avoid user frustration.

They should look to grow and expand their responsibilities through efficiency, working with both US and Canadian brand leads and product managers to commercialize Milwaukee Tool solutions in the digital space for MT.CA

In this position, the Assistant Brand Manager – Web Content Author will:

  • Work cross-functionally with US & Canadian teams to launch new product web assets
  • Proactively communicate in cross-functional team environments
  • Follow and update projects/tickets in Wrike
  • Collaborate with brand leads to coordinate product launches on the Milwaukee Tool website
  • Continually audit the Milwaukee Tool website for errors and inaccuracies
  • Manage web assets in an organized manner within CMS
  • Manage translations and translated assets
  • Work with translations agencies to audit existing and new translated content
  • Ensure the Milwaukee Tool website is functioning correctly across all Canadian domains
  • Work in InRiver Product Information Management System (PIM)
  • Work in Widen Digital Asset Management Systems (DAM)
Who you are:

  • Understands website architecture with HTML, JavaScript, or CSS
  • Ability to work in Photoshop and/or with image manipulation, optimization, and compression
  • Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, deadline-driven timelines
  • Bilingual (English/French) candidates will be highly considered and prioritized for this role
What you have done:

  • Minimum 2-5 years of progressive experience in a similar role
  • Full provincial driver’s license
  • Post-Secondary education in Digital Marketing, Business, Web Development, or other related fields
  • Familiar with Sitecore or other Web Application Content Management Systems
  • Familiar with Project Management Software (Wrike, Monday.com, Asana, Trello, Basecamp and/or others)
  • Can translate business goals into action plans and develops contingency plan
