POSITION SUMMARY:

The role of the Asset Coordinator will have the primary responsibility of facilitating operational tasks to support the creation, organization, trafficking and utilization of assets inclusive of print, digital, photography and video.  S/he will partner with the business on Aerie and AE to receive the image assets throughout the course of each season. S/he will ensure that the Marketing team and Partners have all the image assets necessary to create marketing collateral to engage consumers and drive the business. This position is responsible for bringing order to the creative content process.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:


  • Package and release global creative and marketing assets on a weekly basis
  • Manage and organize assets with a proper naming convention
  • Assist with creation of production art files and  packaging of assets
  • Effectively communicate status updates to teams
  • Manage seasonal video deliverables for international campaigns; outputs/formats to be delivered
  • Partner with Creative Services Operations Manager on communication of assets release and communication platform management
  • Develop in-depth understanding of asset specifications and ensure assets meet requirements
  • Streamline post-shoot asset aggregation process under direction of the Senior Project Manager
  • Work with the Senior Project Manager to understand needs across all our Partners and assist in any operational/project support (not limited to: building timelines, getting status updates, etc.)                                                       
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • 2 years relevant Asset Coordination, uploading to DAM, Exchange, Zipline
  • Marketing or creative services project management
  • Graphic Design Experience: Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop
  • Requires degree from a four-year college (e.g. B.A., B.S.)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of design principles and practices: layout, color theory, typography
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Superb problem solving and follow-through
  • Ability to interact with senior management and to work independently
  • Experience working cross-functionally with marketing, design and International teams
  • Must have a proactive ability to get things done, to solve and mitigate problems. Needs to be a strategic thinker, processing information quickly and coming up with solutions. Must be flexible and technically minded, adapting to changing trends of the International team
  • Should be able to operate in a fast-paced collaborative environment and be able to shift focus and priority from one project to another. Must effectively communicate to stakeholders, co-workers
