The Position
As an AEM DAM (Digital Asset Management) Librarian, your primary responsibility will be managing internal company assets and overall digital asset management which includes taxonomy, indexing, cataloging, archiving, metadata tagging, content management systems, etc. in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) DAM. The DAM Librarian plays a vital role in the management of assets and orchestration of content delivery across Novo Nordisk's digital landscape. You will work with the AEM team to ensure that all digital assets are properly labeled, categorized, and stored in the DAM system. You will also work with other departments to make sure that the assets are easily accessible and properly utilized.
Relationships
Reports to the Associate Director of Content ManagementÍž Provides direct support to the Digital Marketing team, HCP/Patient Brand Leads, and Sales. The position interacts with multiple NNI internal functions such as Brand Managers, Omnichannel teams, IT, Regulatory and Commercial Insights & Analytic, as well as external operational vendors and agencies.

Essential Functions
- Drive metadata and taxonomy strategies and approach, considering asset retrieval needs and alignment with business needs
- Develop and oversee content procedure workflows to ensure useful, relevant workflows that meet business needs across the system and across the asset life cycle (ingest to archive)
- Develop and maintain metadata of shared terms with definitions and rationale
- Oversee application of keywords, controlled vocabulary, categories, and other identifying tags to assets to improve accessibility
- Monitor and audit assets to adhere to established governance standards; ensure process standards are being followed for managing assets
- Generate appropriate taxonomy/metadata reports to share with business content owners and governance stewards for regular review and update
- Provide training and ongoing support on the best practices of content import and metadata application to ensure that all content imported into system meets business goals and objectives
- Coordinate and manage all planned enhancements and work with user groups to establish priorities and commitment to planned changes
- Support workflow oversight and ad hoc change implementation to ensure useful, relevant workflows across the system
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that assets are easily accessible and properly utilized
- Monitor the DAM system to ensure that all assets are up to date and accurate
- Manage and monitor the access and use of digital assets, ensuring brand consistency, compliance, and copyrights
- Coordinate and manage all planned enhancements and work with user groups to establish priorities and commitment to planned changes
- Review and confirm usefulness of system security profiles and user access rights
- Stay updated on current and new technologies. Be eager to learn, discuss and share new and relevant topics
- Hybrid Policy: 3 days in office, 2 days remote.
- 10-20% overnight travel required.
- A bachelor's degree is required
- At least 6-8 years of proven experience working in Digital Asset Management for large enterprise organizations
- AEM Assets Developer Professional, AEM Business Practitioner, and/or other Adobe Certifications or Accreditations
- Understanding of AEM Workflow capabilities, Metadata Models, and Tagging Configuration
- Working knowledge of AEM Sites and content management
- Experience using Adobe Workfront in either a contributor or administrator capacity
- Experience with metadata schema development, high-volume file transmissions, establishing naming conventions, cataloging and taxonomy for assets
- Experienced in one or more digital asset management technologies
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner
- A keen eye for detail, aesthetics, and user satisfaction
- A passion for solving problems and creating user-centric solutions
- Requires self-starter, highly organized, efficient, and capable of leading large meetings and driving them towards a common goal
- Ability to evaluate key business and product metrics to determine specific actions or service feature additions that would favorably impact key metrics
- Strong project management, problem solving and analytical thinking skills
- Requires knowledge of digital strategy delivery and data technologies
- Desired candidate has knowledge of standard and emerging technologies, platforms, support systems, processes, architectures, process flows, integrated dependencies, etc.
- Proven ability to interface with people from various departments, positions and knowledge levels
