PhotoMetadata.org Joins DAM Federation

I am pleased to announce that the PhotoMetadata.org  project which is managed by David Riecks has recently joined DAM Federation, the community of Digital Asset Management resources that was set up in August:

Images with embedded information about their ownership and content are easier to find and harder to misuse. Metadata is the key to better protecting copyrights, promoting licensing, improving workflow, and managing assets.” [Read More]

PhotoMetadata.org  joins Planet DAM, DAM Directory, DAM Guru and the various DAM News community-related sites that we operate.  DAM Federation is open to any DAM-related resource which is non-profit in-nature (although it can be provided by profit-making entity).  The resources should be primarily non-commercial and not exist as promotional/advertising vehicles.
